Blue skies, red clouds, constant shining sun, void of darkness.
Bright.. Everything is always bright..
Birds sang with words.
The tree above her moved its leafy branch to give her shade. She looked up to it and gave her gratitude. Eyes opened from its trunk and smiled at her as he shifted her gaze on a grazing white deer.
She never knew white deers existed. But in this world, she learned to expect the unexpected. The grass changed color, the moon sometimes have a twin, casting crimson hues, but there was never darkness.
The sun sets before her eyes, yet its glowing light remains. The moon rises, but bathes in eternal sunshine. The landscape changes sporadically. Sometimes she's on top of a mountain or plateau, floating in an ocean or bathing in a desert. It never mattered to her what form it took, because it made her happy. Every time she finds the opportunity to enter the door that leads to her little piece of heaven, she t
Lovely Milluki awoke with a tremendous headache. She slowly opened her eyes and gave it time to adjust from the blinding light emanating from the window. She was still disoriented from her fall so she failed to notice where she was, it took about five minutes before the young woman frowned and realization set in. The bed is not her own nor are the sheets, and she for sure does not have white tiles on her floor. In her moment of bewilderment the door opened and in came a woman in a nurse's uniform. She is carrying a metal tray that has a glass of water and medicine. "Your finally awake" the nurse said in a sweet and caring tone.Lovely smiled back and rubbed her temple. "What happened to me" she asked, since she can't seem to remember why she's in a hospital. The nurse regarded her with a questioning look. "Well you were found unconscious in the forest near the Calderon, someone saw you and brought you in. I'm not sure
Lovely remained motionless on her bed, staring quizzically at Carry who insisted on staying when her mother and Angus left. Why she even bothered to stay is a mystery to her. She never like Carry, hell, no one truly liked Carry due to her annoyingly laud mouth and frank personality. It's as if the girl doesn't know when to shut up and take a hint in any circumstance she may find herself into.Even Gen, who was a patient person found it exhausting to be around her."What do you want" lovely finally asked annoyed by how the woman stood in front of her with a smug look plastered on her face.Carry remained silent though and just kept staring at her.Irritated lovely picked up a piece of the apple her mother left on her bedside table and threw it at her.Carry managed to dock but lost her footing resulting to her falling on the floor paining her bum.
The cabin has always been dull. The absence of color is something she longed to change but everything remained grey. The walls, the ceiling, the furniture, the sheets. When did it first brought her here? She can't remember.Who she is, she can't remember. All memories, emotions and longing has blurred as time went by, but the need to escape remained.Escape to where she remains unsure, but she has to. She knows she doesn't belong here. Not in this colorless world. Deep inside her, remains a need that can't be subdued.Daunting silence has been her constant companion, except for the occasional crash of the vile smelling sea.The only window of the cabin faced an endless pool of carcass. A sight which terrorized her every waking moment. Animals floating like soap bubbles, clashing with each other. Sinking one another."Release me" she whispered in the wind, but the wind betrayed her.
It was dark when Esther came to, she rose but a sudden burst of nausea engulfed her core accompanied by a pounding headache which forced her to slump back on the bed. She lay motionless, willing the uncomfortable feelings away, but as the seconds ticked by, the pain only worsened. Her immediate resolve wasto shout but when she tried, her voice came as a whimper. Only then did she feel the dryness of her throat. She began to trash violently, and that's when the door swung open, allowing light to enter her room. Dr. Mori appeared before her, dressed in his usual white doctor's robe. "How are you feeling Esther" he asked in his monotone voice. Esther all but glared at him. TheDoctor shook his head and motioned for her to sit up. But Esther, knowing she would fail shifted her face to her right and buried it on the soft pillow. After what felt like an eternity a nurse suddenly appeared beside her bed handing a glass
It's angry, she can feel the ominous aura surrounding their colorless cabin. She stood in the middle of their living room shaking from head to foot, her heart pounded relentlessly, she could almost see it taking shape over her grey dress. The colorless sofa which is the only furniture inside their living room suddenly burst into flame.A desperate cry escaped from her mouth as the apparition materializedin front of her. She can hear its heavy breathing. Every intake of breath ittook made her take a step back. The fear it imposed upon her bloomed wildly, licking every corner of her being. She began to cry, but the tears that fell from her eyes weirdly felt hotter than usual, and as more dropped from her viridian globes, the hotter it got. It began to scald her cheeks, it started to sting. She tried to stop crying, but to her surprise, her tears kept falling, and they are now searing hot. She screamed in pain. The apparition before her only stood
Coincidences is something thatrarely happens, it is not in the least unwelcome, but never did it struck her as anything. Things happen, and are bound to happen again, in a less parallel of ways, but for Esther coincidence scarcely cross her path, therefore, her curiosity of the coincidence or maybe the shock of familiarity ledher to approach the young man who happens to be wearing a doctor's robe sitting casually on a bench near the hospital's cafeteria. When she first laid eyes on him, her first impulse was to call out a certain name, but upon deeper inspection she concluded that he is only a coincidence. But still, she found herself drawn and walked up to him. The young man has his face upturned, eyes closed and looks deep in thought. Zackary started his day full of hope and new found determination. He walked out of his room with his white coat, deciding it was time to flaunt who he is. Th
Esther squinted her eyes in an attempt to examine the young man sitting on the bench. He took her hand and shook it gently when she introduced herself. He said he is a psychiatrist. Quite young, Esther thought to herself knowing all too well the reputation the hospital upholds. Surely Mori wouldn't put his patient's best interest to someone whom, Esther at that moment judged to be inexperienced, not that she knows better but he looks really young and his features reminded herof Gen's former boyfriend. If it were not for the dark locks on his head, shewould have assumed him to be the same person."Do you need anything else madam?" the young man asked, but Esther couldn't respond, unable to, because she herself is unsure why she evenbothered the young doctor. It's not likely that anyone would come up to somebody and casually say "you look like someone I know" unless theyhave an intention of engaging them into a conversation. To others
She was born on a Sunday, it was particularly warm. The sky was an expanse of sapphire blue, lined with white tendrils of fluffy clouds. The sun beamed beautifully that day. Esther began.Zackary noticed the sudden spark of life on the old woman's voice. The way her tone pitched a bit higher and her lips marred with the slightest touch of a smile proved that she was feeling better."I just got home from church when the madam went into labor" Esthercontinued.Zackary made a mental note to keep himself focused on her story, pushing any other thoughts he had aside. The madam was so scared when she was in labor. I cannot put to words how much she screamed and kicked at everyone that day.It was bad enough that we have to keep everything sterile, since she and the master decided to have the babydelivered at home.Zackary was reluctant to interrupt but he reasoned, an input here and there would probably sho
