CHAPTER 08: WELCOME TO HELL

“So, you’re my brother,” Morgan Anderson, his brother said. Morgan tilted his head and looks at Tyron from head to toe. “Huh! Not bad,” His brother said before leaving and leaving him alone. Morgan walks towards the stairs, whistling a tune. He shakes his head and sighs.

“Father should have told me that he is coming,” Tyron murmured. He stood up from his seat and then walks towards the stairs when he finished eating and went back to his office.

He sat on the chair and called his father. “Father,” He started, his father immediately picked up after a few rings. “Yes, Son,” His father answered. “You didn’t tell me that Morgan is coming home,” He said. “He’s home? That spoiled brat! I’ll be back after an hour, for the meantime, avoid fighting or crossing paths with that devil,” His father said before ending the call. He doesn’t have the energy to argue with his brother, besides, he doesn’t know him well.

A knock from the door woke him up from his thoughts. “Come in,” He said, the door opened and Kevin entered the room with a folder in his hand. “What’s that?” He asked him.

“Oh! This? This is the legal files for your new identity, Boss,” Kevin said. His brows furrowed and look at it when Kevin handed him the folder. “New identity, huh?” He said. Kevin grinned and shrug his shoulder.

“Your father told me that it is better this way, no one will know that you are the one working behind the name Titus Anderson,” Kevin said. He nodded his head and sigh as he looks at the papers. He is now Titus Anderson, this is it. The new beginning.

“You look bothered, Boss,” Kevin told him, and he tilt his head. Is he that obvious? He sigh and leaned on the seat. “Morgan's home,” He uttered. “Holly cow! Did you two meet? Fight?” Kevin said, panicking, he shakes his head and palmed his face. “We met, yes, but we didn’t fight,” He said that calming Kevin down. “Thank goodness!” Kevin yelled. Tyron shakes his head, he finds it funny sometimes how Kevin can be funny and dangerous sometimes.

“Ah! Boss! I forgot to tell you that Mr. Hayes already scheduled his meeting with the shareholders of the Grand Hotel and Resort,” Kevin informed him, he nodded his head. “I want you to be there, Kevin,” He said, Kevin eyed him.

“I won’t ask why, it’s your shot Boss, I will be there, and besides, Mr. Hayes needs me for the proposal,” Kevin said, he sighed and leaned on his chair, eyed his watch for a second. The door opened and Morgan entered, his eyes were roaming around his office as he was nodding his head.

“What do you want, Morgan?” He said and eyed his brother, watching his every move. Kevin moved beside him, standing and watching his brother like a guarded hawk.

“Chill brother, you’re too tense!” His brother said and laugh at him, he walks towards the sofa and sat on the armrest. “I see, you have your own lair, huh? Father must have really adored you to give you your own space here in the mansion,” He added, looking at him intently.

“You should have seen him give me everything,” He said instead after a few seconds of silence, he saw how Morgan’s face frowned with his response, which made him grin. That hit a spot huh? He thought and looks at his brother, intensely this time.

“You’re just useful for him, that’s why, wait until he disposed of you too, brother,” Morgan said, gritting his teeth before leaving the room. Kevin cleared his throat.

“That was intense, I could feel the electricity striking,” Kevin whispered and looked at him before bowing his head and leaving the room. He shrugs his shoulder and looks at the documents. He needs to learn more if he wants revenge, he should know his enemies' weaknesses and that includes Morgan, what are your weaknesses, Morgan?

It was around twelve noon when his father arrived. He asked for the maid to deliver his food for lunch to his room, he was busy reading all the files as his father told him to study the company that he would be working for but he requested to be part of every department before he steps into the managing the whole hotel and he should understand the whole system.

“Father,” He said when he saw his father enters the room, his father looks pissed and bothered at the same time. “What’s bothering you?” He asked his father, His father just shakes his head and walk towards his table.

“Did Morgan threaten you?” Mr. Jackson asked, he just shake his head and leaned on the chair, before reaching for the spoon.

“No, why? He came here, we nearly had an argument but that’s just it,” He answered half a lie, though he was bothered by what his brother told him, he didn’t let it eat him and his thoughts. He should be focusing on getting better and wiser to bring down his enemies.

“I- I thought he threatened you, you should eat your lunch, I will come back later, I have something to tell you,” His father said before leaving him alone in the room. People inside this mansion are weird and they just leave after saying one sentence or two, he shakes his head and took a bite of his lunch, and reads the reports at the same time.

It was a wonderful lunch he had since he moved here in the mansion, he enjoyed being alone and felt serene peace. He sighed and smiled, when he finished his food, the made sure to arrange the plates and called the maids thru the phone connecting to the rooms in the mansion.

When the maid cleaned his room and brought back the plates from his office he started working again. This time, he heard a knock on his door. “Come in,” He said, his father’s lawyer entered the room. Mr. Hayes.

“What brings you here, Mr. Hayes?” Tyron asked, Mr. Hayes, handed him the papers. “What’s this?” Tyron added when he accepted the paper. “Signed this, it’s for the approval of the proposal for tomorrow’s meeting,” Mr. Hayes said, he nodded his head and read the proposal, his brows raised when he saw how appealing it is. “Who made this?” Tyron asked. “Kevin did,” Mr. Hayes said, he nodded his head and continues to read the proposal.

After reading, he signed the paper with his new signature of course which his father made possible of doing by giving him his new name. The perks of being a billionaire. He mentally scoffs.

“Thank you, and let me know if you have other requests for tomorrow,” Mr. Hayes said, he just shakes his head. “I will inform you later, but make sure that Mr. and Mrs. Alonso will bend their knees once they knew,” He said, Mr. Hayes, nodded his head with a small grin plastered on his lips and bid his goodbye before leaving the room.

He stood up from his seat when he heard the door lock. He walks towards the couch with the file in his hand and the tablet in the other hand. He sat there and stretched his arms and legs.

“I need a massage, my back is hurting,” He whispered. He wondered where his brother went, his father never returned after lunch. He disregarded the thought and leaned on the sofa, grabbing the tablet that he put on the coffee table.

He opened the browser to look for the news. He saw how rumors about his ex-wife are still the number one trend on the internet. Princess to Pauper, Sol Marie Alonso Lopez the widowed wife cheated on his husband. Ha! This should do, he wants to crash her after knowing that he’s not the father of his child and she dared to claim the money his mother gave him, speaking of which, he sends the man to prison after giving him real torture.

He misses his mother, and the guilt and regrets clouded his dreams every night. He sighed heavily and tossed the tablet on the couch, he can feel the urge to avenge himself and his mother who especially didn’t do anything wrong. He clenched his fist at the thought of because of his lack of will before, his mother was killed, he was the target but then, the man choose to kill his mother.

A knock on the door woke him up, he groaned and sat straight on the couch. “It’s open,” He shouted, he heard the door open and closed. He didn’t bother turning his head to see who was there. “Son,” It was Mr. Jack– his father. “Father,” He said, his father walk towards the couch in front of him and sat there, staring at him for a few seconds before talking.

“Here,” His father said, giving him a little bottle, with a necklace. “Your mother’s ashes,” His father said, with a sad smile plastered on his lips. “It’s a little urn, customized for your mother’s ashes, I wanted to give it to you, I hope it made you happy,” His father said, he smiled as a tear starts running down his eyes. “Thank you,” He can’t contain his guilt and sadness, suppressing it was hard. He walks towards his father and hugs him tightly. “It’s all my fault,” He whispered, his father taps his shoulder.

“No, it’s not son, if you want to avenge your mother, better do it quickly and make them pay,” His father said, he nodded his head. He intended to do so, and he will welcome them to hell.
