Blowing open the trash bag, I watched as Lisa’s eyes beamed with so much happiness and even though there was an underlying disgust, I was sure that she felt happy.

She had probably been waiting for a chance to humiliate me like this and now that she has gotten it, a hint of satisfaction flashed in her eyes.

“Poor, useless bastards like you have no right using a branded suitcase.” She sneered as she wrapped her arms around her chest but I didn’t say anything.

My teeth gritted, the humiliation was clawing at me like talons, reminding me time and time again that all these while, I was nothing to the Nelson family.

I was only a tool for them to let out all of their frustrations on and as much as it hurts deep in my heart, I endured it all since I was going to be leaving very soon.

The sound of an approaching footsteps caused me to lift up my head and that was when I saw that Jenna had walked into my room.

Shoving all of my pain aside, I let out a cynical smile as I shook my head and the thought of what Simon had said before I left the room rang in my head.

Not wanting to let it hurt me anymore, I thought that I was going to have some fun with her and although she doesn’t have a look of satisfaction, I couldn’t help but let out.

“Is Simon really that fast?” I asked, teasing her and there was a trace of mockery in my voice that did not only anger Jenna but it also embarrassed her.

Her throat bobbed as she forced herself to swallow the saliva that had probably formed in her mouth and her cheeks turned really red.

Her eyes blazed with fiery anger and my tone seemed to be infuriating to her. I watched as she colored fiercely, her face flushed and with a renewed embarrassment, she looked away from me.

“You really are a very lewd person, get your mind out of the fucking gutter,” she sneered at me, her teeth gritting against each other as her fist clenched.

I shrugged and felt a deep satisfaction within me when she stiffened under my gaze, I could tell that she felt momentarily abashed and I smiled again.

“I didn’t do anything with Simon,” she was quick to continue defending herself and her breath quickened as her cheeks got even redder.

“I only took a shower because—” her voice trailed off when she realized that her mother was still in the room with us and I couldn’t help it as my lips curved into a sad smile.

I knew what she was going to say and she didn’t have to complete her statement for me to know that she was trying to say that she took a shower because she had sex with me last night.

She didn’t want any evidence of the sex she had with me on her body and just being in the same room with me is so irritating to her that I know she still can’t bear the thought of us having sex.

It might have been a one night thing but that one night, last night, was going to remain fixed in my mind forever.

The sound of Lisa growling jolted me out of my thoughts, her lips curled disgustingly and her eyes bore holes into every pore of my body.

She was impatient, restless and it was clear that she couldn’t wait to get rid of me as she waited for me to pack my clothes.

“Get your filthy self out of this house as soon as possible,” she snarled and even though I was used to words like this, they still cut deep.

“Simon can’t wait to be the new host of Nelson's villa so pack your trash and leave!” She barked and with an indifferent smile, I took the bag and left.

Jenna didn’t say anything and she even did everything in her power to avoid eye contact with me even as her mother’s words were laced with malice, Jenna remained quiet.

Taking in a deep breath, I made my way out of the villa, each step was agonizing because I felt as if I was leaving a piece of me behind but I didn’t look back.

Getting out of the Nelson’s villa is a huge step, one that’s mandatory for me to take because there’s no more place for me in the mansion.

Flagging down a taxi, I boarded it and my mind was conflicted as I told the taxi that I was going to the hospital.

I needed to see Mrs. Winkle but when I got to the hospital and went to Mrs Winkle’s ward, she was no longer there.

The ward was empty and I felt my heart race in my chest, panic like never before welled up in my throat and I felt fear running down my spine.

Where is she?!

Rushing into the ward Mrs Winkle was supposed to be in, I checked in the bathroom but she wasn’t there too and sheer black fright swept through me.

“Oh, it’s just you,” one of the nurses who saw me hissed disgustingly, a hint of mockery in her voice as she spoke and my face fell.

“I don’t even know what you’re doing here and if Mrs Winkle died then it'd be because of you,” she continued.

“Because you’re so useless you can’t even afford the monthly fees, why did you bring her here when you know you’ll keep delaying payments?” She continued mocking.

My chest tightened and fear settled in my stomach as different terrifying thoughts ran through my mind but I remained calm.

“Where is she?” I asked, my throat feeling dry as different scary images formed in my head and instead of a response, all I got was a mocking laughter.

“Who knows?” She sneered, “maybe she got kicked out because you owe too much money.” She added, her words were like a hurtful blow to my head.

Anger washed through me and as my teeth gritted, my fist clenched and I felt anger thrummed through my veins.

“W—”

“YOU’RE FIRED!” A cold, loud voice said behind me and my words got stuck in my throat as I turned to look at the person who had said that.

The nurse’s face immediately turned pale with shock when the man came into view. He was wearing a lab coat that made me identify him as a doctor.

“I apologize for her behavior,” the man said to me in a gentle tone and his lips soon curved into a smile that made me wonder why he’s being nice to me.

“Mrs. Winkle is now in the VIP ward.”
