Chapter 111

Jay suddenly went silent, unable to speak as he struggled for breath.

Life was literally draining from him as he struggled to keep his eyes open.

“Ethan, please let him go!” Loretta screeched, rushing to Ethan's side.

“Please let him go. I know you are upset but think….please..think about it.” She appealed to him calmly as she observed the murderous glare that his eyes held.

“Why should I spare this fool? He was supposed to be my friend, yet he betrayed me and even stood by to watch while they executed my mother!” Ethan's voice sounded unyielding. He watched Jay struggle for breath until he became unconscious, before dropping him to the ground with a loud thud.

Loretta's eyes widened when she saw Jay's lifeless body on the ground.

Though she had witnessed Ethan fight countless times, she had never seen him take a life.

She gazed at him in terror, not knowing what to think or say at that instant.
