Loretta blushed as she imagined what Ethan was about to do, her emotions instantly running wild.

“You have something stuck to your back,’’ he finally said before removing it.

Loretta was stunned and slightly embarrassed as she had misinterpreted his actions. She quickly cleared her throat and whispered a thank you before she left.

After dinner, Ethan and Loretta talked about a few things, suddenly Ethan's countenance became cold.

“What's wrong? Are you still thinking about what Dr Zachary told you?” Loretta enquired, feeling concerned about Ethan.

“Yes, I am. I still can't believe that they did all that to me and my poor mother.”

“You need to deal with it and get done with it otherwise it will eat you up.”

Ethan managed to flash her a fake smile. He knew she was right but he couldn't get himself to stop thinking about the betrayal from Ariella and her family.
