Chapter 179

Farrell was ecstatic after he heard what his grandmother said to him. He couldn't wait to see Ethan begging for mercy. He was going to enjoy every bit of the show.

He smiled deviously to himself as he swung his vehicle into the road and sped off in the direction of the hospital.

Ethan's gaze remained on Dr. Kris for several seconds, studying him. His heart was beat was somewhat unsteady and there were fresh beads of sweat on his forehead. His hands were unsteady and he paced continuously, back and forth in his office like one who was in a dilemma.

“Doctor, I was expecting you to be overjoyed at the news but instead you look even more disturbed, why is that?” Ethan's question surprised Dr. Kris.

Didn't he just hear a word I just said? He wondered. Had he known he probably wouldn't have allowed Ethan to get involved. What if his actions had complicated matters?

Dr. Kris knew Farrell wasn't the type to give up so easily. He was definitely going to return and this time he won't be alone.
