The officers ignored Loretta's remark as they continued to search the car but the officers found nothing.

They glared at each other in disappointment as they came out of the vehicle.

“Have you found what it is you were looking for?” Ethan asked disdainfully, as one of the officers stepped aside to make a phone call.

The second officer felt very uncomfortable as he listened to Ethan's mocking question.

The first officer returned a few minutes later to stop Ethan from driving out, “And where do you think you are going to?” The first officer asked Ethan.

Ethan frowned, “What the hell is going on here? Haven't you searched our vehicle?”

“We have but we know you are hiding something and you can't leave until we find it!”

Ethan laughed loudly at that moment, “That's not happening. You won't waste another second of our time. I do not want to hurt you but I won't hesitate to act if you get in my way again,” Ethan warned the officers.

“Is that a threat?” One of the officers asked, sneering.
