Chapter 15 : Four Major Cities

Leiu kept browsing the website for random information, and apparently, the average level of the players is between 8 and 10.

Moreover, the company 'LobiSoft' announced that the total players of their game 'Hell Gate' has exceeded 100 Million, which is truly outrageous, it's the first day yet so many people are playing.

Also, he read that not all starting villages are the same, they were scattered on the continent, there were thousands of them, which surprised him a bit, he thought that all players would have the same beginner's village and they were just divided to various channels.

As for the beginning quest, they were more or less the same, instead of Bees or Rabbits there were Slimes, moving gigantic Flowers and so on, all of them were weak and easy to kill.

The players only discovered 8 right now, and as he read the description, each city is outrageously huge, it could hold millions of people, there were also countless quests and NPC's.

The four cities were only controlled by the same faction. The Noules Empire is controlled by Humans and everyone who chose the Human Race is teleported to one of the four cities. The Elves and Rauhn are teleported to one of the two cities ruled by the Elves.

As for the last two cities, they are considered some kind of evil factions are ruled by strange races which very, very few people managed to acquire after triggering unique events.

It is also said that each Race has a leaderboard so the one Leiu saw was the leaderboard for the Human race.

Moreover, both the Elves' faction and the Noules Empire have an alliance, whereas the other faction is at war with them. So any player who's lucky enough to acquire a unique race needs to think twice before choosing as it'll make him the enemy of a lot of players and will make him unable to visit the human or elven cities.

Leiu was excited to go to one of the cities, it's too bad he has to finish the last Trial first.

Last but not least, Leiu checked the classes and comments about them.

The more details he discovered about the classes the angrier and surprised he became. First, more than 80% of the class quests were easy, there was absolutely no quest like the one he's currently doing, which teleported him in a weird manor.

Second of all, he saw a lot of people speaking about countless classes, from the bard to the assassin, from paladin to sorcerer.

There was really A LOT, there were some mentions about the Unique and Epic classes, such as the Paladin which is Epic, the Sorcerer is an Epic class too.

A lot of players only got bad choices, like swordsman, warrior, a thief or something similar, one would be lucky to have a Rare Class, as for Epic and Unique, it was unknown how players obtained them.

Leiu chuckled as he saw how people cursed and raged about getting bad class choices, as for him? He was able to have the privilege to choose between 2 Unique Classes, so why would he feel sad?

Plus, the trials were so goddam hard, so he was sure that the Dark Knight class is powerful.

After one last look, he wore a grey jacket with a hoodie, took his phone from the desk and exited his little apartment.

The road toward the restaurant, which is where he works at, was crossed in just 10 minutes. His mind never stopped thinking about the game, he couldn't wait to come back and play it.

His shift ends at 6-7AM, depends on the business of the place, but usually, it's around 6:30 AM. He was used to all-nighters like this, so he won't slack off or sleep in a corner, moreover, his job was cleaning dishes, taking out the trash and many other labors, he rarely served the customers as he didn't like interactions a lot.

Technically, it was not a restaurant, rather, it's a cafè, they served all kinds of foods, so it can be considered a restaurant too, not only was it a cafè, but at the second floor, there was a cloth shop and at the 3rd floor there was an internet cafè.

It was 6:25AM when Leiu finished, his boss told him that it's enough for the today and sent him home, so he didn't linger off there much, he picked his jacket and went straight home.

The first thing he did jump on his bed, he directly went to sleep after putting an alarm on his phone. He wanted to sleep 2 or 3 more hours, to feel less exhausted.

At 9:10AM, Leiu woke up, his sleepiness and tiredness were almost gone, after taking another cold shower, he equipped the headset for the game and entered Hell Gate.

Leiu appeared on the weird place illuminated by the bright light coming from above, his body was still leaning on the big wooden puppet and his Stamina and Health fully recovered.

The first thing Leiu did was cast his eye toward the loot not far away from him. It beautifully laid on the ground, waiting to be equipped, urging the youth to quickly crouch down and loot everything. His eyes eagerly wandering between a ring and a cloak, both seemingly rare and powerful.
