He was lowering his gaze and scanning the item only for a head to pop out from the ground, startling him. His greatsword was raised but the head materialized itself and surged from the ground.
To be precise, it wasn’t just a head but a complete, phantom body. Though, what was more than its appearance was that Leiu recognized this ghost. Her curly brown hair and her face were still vivid in his face, after all, this girl visited him not too long ago yet he refused her apology.
