As she laid on the ground, Elizabeth was too dumbstruck to do anything. She stared at the starry-sky, trying to comprehend and process what had just happened.
She wanted to threaten him using force but, before she could react, she was overpowered so easily. What was ridiculous was that she didn’t even see what he did! And as a prideful knight and a princess, it really infuriated her.
Although Leiu refused to talk to her or admit that he was indeed the Nameless Knight, Elizabeth was still certain that it was him. Not only did Fairti describe his friend’s appearance to her, but he also talked about his gloomy attitude, never-changing expression, and his unique black hair and black eyes, which were pretty uncommon in this world.
Even if Fairti had not provided
“The economy in the Southern Countries is on the rise. On behalf of our treasured empire, I thank you for coming and trading with us.”Frederic, while sitting, performed a short bow and smiled at Leiu, who just nodded. By now, it has become kind of obvious that the Crown Prince was probing around, and though he had enough men to do the investigation for him, he wanted to do it himself, strangely enough. His interest in Leiu peaked when Elizabeth dragged him away and went as far as sitting next to him. Although his relationship with his half-sister wasn’t particularly good, considering their circumstances and ambitions, Frederic still understood Elizabeth’s character. She wouldn’t act so brazenly in front of a complete stranger, which meant, at least for Frederic, that the two knew each other prior to the
Leiu contemplated his choices as he followed the thief, who was trying his best to find him. Meanwhile, the second pursuer was a distance away, aware that Leiu discovered the thief.Eventually, Leiu decided to make a move, albeit the possible consequences it could bring. After all, he sensed the two of them because of his sharpened senses at night. They could have been following in at the day too, and if it was the case, that would be problematic. He needed to resolve this matter before they discover something they ought not to. Of course, his relationship with Zeno would sooner or later get noticed, but there were other things better left hidden. For example, his ability to instantly teleport to his manor. The thin and lengthy silver chains wrapped around his left arm were

“So you hit him with the Lunar Poison?”A man with an over-sized lab coat and dusty spectacles was sitting on a rocking chair and reading a thick book, half of his attention was focused on a golden-haired knight kneeling a couple of meters away.Bran Terrest silently nodded his head once, his eyes looking at the ground.“I hope you did not do it out of spite due to his involvement in the girl’s untimely death.”The man threw the book on the ground and stood up, walking to a large window and gazing at the luminous capital.“Even though you obtained his memories, it doesn’t make you him. It would be troublesome
“Lost Jar, you were killed? Bahahaha!”“You boasted about your stealth then you got killed with one hit? What a disgrace! Eun Myung, whose player name was Ayeon, stared at Vins and Frozen Torch, surprised to actually stumble upon players this deep into ruins. For a while, there was only silence, which was ever-so-dominant.Vins opened his mouth and spoke, though no words could be heard. However, the System facilitated the communication and displayed white subtitles right above his player-name.“Don’t look at us like that. We’re here for the same reason.”“...”Ayeon was very suspicious of Vins especially, because he was unfamiliar to her. Frozen Torch had a reputation and was known as the first player who acquired a Mythical class, but Vins, on the other hand, was mysterious.&nbs
Ten kilometers South of the Imperial Capital, in the depths of the Dragon’s Maw Canyon, that was where the gold mine of the Goldshin Family was situated. Fortunately, it wasn’t at the deepest parts of the canyon, so Leiu did not have to worry about the high-leveled territorial monsters infesting the canyon. The canyon was at least twice the size of The Grand Canyon on Earth, but it was hundreds of times more dangerous. Here, the biggest threat was the astronomical number of monsters dominating the upper and lower regions.Although it was a dangerous place, it was also a strategic location to build a city. In order to reach the capital, one must climb to the uppermost part of the canyon and go through a towering fortress which acted as an unavoidable defense point. Meeting Emperor here was definitely unexpected, but what was more confusing was his motive. Leiu had never clashed with Emperor or his guilt, except the one time he killed that thief, Lost Jar.Then again, it shouldn’t have been that big of a deal, at least not to the point of making Emperor directly come and meet him face to face. With the Lunar Poison affecting his stats, recovery resources, and hurting his joints and ankles, Leiu was at a clear disadvantage. While he had confidence in his own skills and fighting prowess, it was still too much to fight one of the best human players and his party. Then again, dying in such a situation was not a bad outcome either. Due to the mysterious Lunar Poison, the number of available uses for [Re; Hell Gate] was reduced toRe; Hell Gate Chapter 330 : The Test (2)
