Leiu would never have thought that by saving Selphie, he would also save Fairti’s life. In more than a way, Mira’s advice helped him greatly, as much as he would like to deny it. Of course, he’s not going to make it his life’s goal to save any and every person in danger, but, surprisingly, it did make him feel a bit good to save that elf.
Back then, the situation was chaotic and without his intervention, Selphie would have surely died. Admittedly, saving her took more effort than he had expected, but everything turned out to be good, eventually.
