It was his first time seeing a level 5 rabbit, what's more surprising is its fast speed and large size; which was four to five times bigger than a normal Savage Rabbit. Furthermore, the normal rabbits, despite having a horn, looked a bit cute, but this one, it looked creepy and dangerous.
After all, a cute hamster would not be cute if it's the size of a dog, unless someone's preferences are special...
The sudden appearance of the rabbit startled Leiu, but the experience of almost 50 battles against rabbits taught him some things, he may not have become peerless or perfect in fighting, but he had more confidence, unlike his first fight.
He backed away from the rabbit's leap, then he charged at its left side while slashing his sword horizontally, it was accurate and fast, however, the outcome of the slash was absolutely outside of his expectation.
It was like slashing metal or hardwood, barely any blood came out, much less a deep cut, and the health bar above the creature decreased by a very meager amount, nonetheless, Leiu didn't give up.
He didn't turn around and run, that was cowardly. Just because a boss-like monster appeared, so what? If he runs from a dangerous monster in the beginner area then what would he do when he faces the real bosses later on, those with hideous faces and abnormally huge size.
The rabbit's screeching was even louder and more annoying than the little rabbits, it's truly frustrating, Leiu could do nothing but try to kill it faster to silence it.
Leiu didn't stop after the first attack, instead, before the rabbit could leap at him or thrust its horn at him, he attacked with the bronze sword yet again, aiming for its eye. Since it was big and he was facing its side, he could not directly attack its weak point, which is the head.
Again, the health bar decreased by another bit, Leiu didn't linger off anymore, as he attacked a third time, he didn't wait for it to counter-attack as he jumped back, avoiding the stab of the horn which came at fast speed.
Fortunately, the rabbits were not that fast, when they leapt, they were fast, but other than that, they were slow, plus, when they were near you, leaping would be useless for them, so their only means of attack would be their horns. Usually, it would not be much dangerous for Leiu who can dodge them easily after numerous fights.
But a horn-like this one, which was very sharp and long, was hard to avoid, he had to attack from blind spots and act cautiously and not attack more than needed. Maybe if he was long-ranged like an archer, then he could kite, but that was definitely not his style, close-combat was his style.
So like this, Leiu launched his offensive again, he appeared behind the big rabbit and stabbed again, dealing damage, then he retreated, he repeated this process for some time until the rabbit's health bar reached its third.
He noticed that he became a bit tired, his stamina must have decreased by a lot, unfortunately, there were no potions that restored stamina or else he would have bought some, his health is still full, which is a good thing.
His movements were really near perfect, he may be called a genius in learning, he only fought for the first time today, so it seemed absurd that he could fight like this.
Although it's a game, it's was literally like reality, except having a bit more stamina, the movement, jumps, kicks and so on were just like reality, for him to easily dodge the horns attack and leaps was beyond comprehension, he must surely be a quick learner, but for Leiu, he thought it's because the game allowed him to move easily and helped players out.
...
8 or 9 minutes passed when finally, the big body of the rabbit fell on the ground, there were cuts all over its body, Leiu kept hitting the same place on purpose to further dig into that hard fur, his precise hits managed to kill the monster, which was followed by messaged

Sword Mastery[Basic Lv1] Levelled up : When wielding a sword : You deal 5.5% more damage.
To level up two times in a row after killing it, attacking it for more or less 10 minutes was definitely worth the time, he only had 2 stamina left and he was heavily panting as he sat on the ground and looked at the large corpse of the rabbit.
The notification to get the loot popped up, he confirmed it and waited for the items to show.
Superior Rabbit fur obtained!
+1 Silver!
Basic boots : +1 agility / +1 dexterity
Steel Sword : +2 Strength
Leiu was happy to get items, plus a silver, it was really not bad, he already got more than 100 coppers which can be traded with 1 silver, so basically, he had 2 silvers.
Without hesitation, he opened his inventory and equipped the boots which looked normal without nothing special and the Steel sword, it was much better than the bronze sword and looked sharp and decent.
After equipping both items, he checked his status again with a stupid smile hanging on his face.

His stats really changed from the beginning, although it has been only a few hours, for him, this speed of change was decent enough. he also thought that there certainly are people similar to him, who may have similar or even higher stats than him. There were those martial artists in real life, who can show their prowess in the game, they held an absolute advantage, but Leiu was very determined to become stronger in here!
This was only the beginning for him, he would fight endlessly until his dodging, attacking become as perfect and flawless as possible, that's what he strived for, to kill enemies easily and quickly.
...
Leiu sat there, deep in thought for 15 or so minutes, his stamina fully recovered by then, so he got up to search for bees, he was Level 7, so perhaps dealing with them would be easier than he thought.
It didn't take him more than 5 minutes to spot a Bee, it was floating around aimlessly and roaming the forest, it had a fist-sized body and sharp needle on it's lower body, transparent wings which flapped very fast and yellow-ish body.
Once Leiu was close enough, it became hostile and flew toward him, pointing its needle at him. Unlike last time, he already predicted that it will attack and easily dodged it.
Seeing the income Bee, which flew toward him again, he dashed at it, and just when he was going to collide with its sharp needle, he ducked and stabbed with his Steel sword, it was a neat and precise thrust which were aimed at its wings.
Leiu didn't know the bee's weakness yet, so logically thinking, if he got rid of its wings, then it should be powerless, right?
Those thoughts were confirmed when he saw one of the two transparent wings easily cut off by the Steel sword, the bee was Level 4 yet its wing was cut off as if they were paper.
Losing its most important parts, the poor Bee helplessly fell on the ground, moving its body and trying to attack with the needle even in that state, but it was already hopeless.
Leiu grinned for a second before thrusting his sword into the Bee's head, instantly killing it, and receiving the experience.
He soon looted the corpse, and messages popped up again.
You obtained Bee needle
You obtained +7 Coppers.
Leiu didn't pay much attention to the Bee needle, he didn't know it's used, but if it could be sold for some money then that's great! Furthermore, the experience he got was not bad, although he was already Level 7, he got 4% when he killed it!
It may not be that much for others, but for him, it's enough for now, he was going to kill as many Bees as possible until he could easily get rid of them, just like rabbits, and maybe he would find a boss Bee like the rabbit?
He had to be lucky as he knew that finding that rabbit was a stroke of good fortune, or else he would have seen similar large rabbits roaming the forest, but it was the only one he spotted.
..
Dealing with Bees was surprisingly easier than rabbits, they were faster but when their wings are cut off, they lose all resistances and can be killed even by a child, so he focused on their wings and got rid of a lot of Bees, from the 4 quests, he already finished 3, the only one left was 'destroying the bee's home' but ever since he started 'hunting' them, he never found someplace similar to their home.

Level up! all stats +1
Sword Mastery [Basic Lv3=>4] Levelled up : When wielding a sword : deal 6.5% more damage
Leiu leaned on a tree as he looked at the popped messages, after two more hours, he managed to level up 2 more times and level up his sword mastery yet again, which was a great thing, with this progress, he should certainly be amongst the top players, or so he thought.
Things may be easier for others as they formed parties, but the experience would be shared so his situation was perhaps a bit better.
He was almost Level 10, so he could get a new class, which was obviously a good thing, he would get powerful skills and perhaps more things, so why not feel joyful.
But before reaching 10, he decided to do return and get the quests, he already found a nest of Bees, nothing special, just like in real life, just bigger size. He easily destroyed it and finished the quest,
now he had to return the quests and get rewards and experience.
However, he didn't count on that much as he really didn't think that low-level quests would give that much, especially when he took them when he was Level 1 and now he was Level 9.
Furthermore, he already looted 357 coppers, with the silver he got from the big rabbit, that's almost 5 silvers, it's a decent amount for a beginner, maybe he could get nice gear from the blacksmith, but it's widely known that items in merchants and such are not that good, though it would be to get some until he loots a good set.
Currently, he was wearing a beginner armor which no stats, it's only meant to cover him. Apart from the boots he looted, the rest was trash.
But now he wanted to return, he realized that he kind of ... got lost? He was engrossed in hunting non-stop so he ran in circles and randomly roamed to kill bees, now that he thought about it, he didn't encounter any person since he killed that giant rabbit, did he go too deep or what?
He chose one direction and began heading towards it, it was the only solution. For now, there were no scrolls or skills to go back to the village, moreover, being killed would reduce his Level and stats by 1, and he absolutely didn't want that to happen.
As he continued walking straight, the atmosphere became more gloomy although it's still noon, trees became thicker and there were no more bees or rabbits, just by this, he knew he went to the opposite direction or headed deeper to the forest, just from afar, he spotted a dark wolf silhouette, it was roaming 50 or so meters from him and didn't seem to notice him.
Leiu was in a dilemma, he didn't know what to do at first, he wanted to go back to the village, but he ended up going deeper, and here he is stumbling upon a dangerous wolf.Forest Wolf Lv13Well, it's to be expected to meet a wolf in the beginning, most games like do this, however, Leiu was not confident to be able to beat him. First, because his gear was not that good, he didn't have armor, helmet or gloves, his experience is not enough for him
With no time to waste, Leiu dashed between the trees and bushes while breathing heavily, he knew that his stamina was depleted quickly in that hard fight, unlike with the big rabbit, which he kited and attacked without being hit, against the wolf, he barely won, he received a bloody wound too, it's fortunate he got a Health Potion, or else the blood would attract more beasts. While running and keeping an eye on his behind, Leiu never stopped, but even after 5 minutes, he could still hear the howls of 3 wolves, chasing after him, what was worse is that the distance is shortening by the second, they were very persistent and didn't give up even after chasing him for a couple of minutes. Moreover, Leiu's clothes were filled with blood from the injury, and that precisely attracted the wolves and made them chase him even more, the smell made them even hungrier, he also killed their comrade, so there is no way they would stop chasing him.Two more minutes passed, Leiu finally stopped running,
After one final look at his stats, Leiu got up and started roaming the forest to locate the beginner's village, and that took him 1 hour, he spent a whole hour to get out of the thick forest tree, find other players and finally find the beginner's village. The first thing he did was obviously finish the quests, well technically, he already finished them, he just had to go to the person who gave him the quest and get the experience and the reward. The first quest he returned was the one that needed him to gather snowberries.
Leiu was surprised as most of the classes were special, he really didn't expect this, he didn't do anything that special so he was startled to see so many good choices. It's a pity he didn't know that what he did what practically impossible, who is crazy enough to hunt Bees and Rabbit for several hours? For most people, it's a waste of time. The choice was hard, it's like putting several types of delicious cakes in front of you and telling you to only chose and eat one, it was that kind of situation.
It's been 30 minutes already, Leiu became annoyed rather than confused, it's like a prank more than a trial, he began regretting choosing this class, first, he thought that this may be a bug, but there's no way there is a bug when it's just launched, right? After all, there was a beta test a few months ago, a game like this should have been tested by the developers countless time to find any bugs. That assumption was quickly deleted from his mind, but if it's not a bug, then what the bloody hell is happening.
Leiu Stamina was almost depleted, 2 points left, his arms and legs trembling, barely able to stand, however, he persevered and his strong will and decent stats allowed him to hold on for thirty minutes, continuously slaying anything that bore its fangs at him.Leiu truly reached his very limits, no matter how strong he is, he couldn't fight anymore, it took him 4 to 5 strikes to deal with beasts now, and even more, his two remaining potions are gone and his health decreased to 6, wounds and injuries covered his body and even the gloves were destroyed now.
35 minutes or so passed, Leiu's Health and Stamina fully recovered, he equipped the old beginner's armor, which was totally useless, at least it wasn't totally destroyed like the newly bought one, as he saw the state of that armor, Leiu could only feel sadness and grief, he lost a whopping 3 silver for it, yet it didn't even last an hour! After taking a breath of fresh yet cold air, Leiu got up and headed upstairs, there is really no use staying here, he tried roaming the manor and inspecting the other rooms, but he couldn't step in them,
As he faced the 4 wooden puppets, Leiu couldn't help but wipe the invisible cold sweat on his forehead, just thinking about that made him feel restless and uneasy.I mean, what are the chances that he could finish hundreds of those puppets, they would jump at him from all directions, unlike the dark beasts which had a large frame, these puppets could easily overwhelm him if they had enough numbers. While gritting his teeth, Leiu stood there, waiting for them to attack, although they gave him 30 seconds between each fight, it was n
Outside of Black Mountain City“The Red Moon hasn’t changed.”Vins remarked as he looked to the sky. “I thought you’ll come back once it is time.”“I didn’t want to come fetch you at the last second. Plus, it won’t be long before the Hell Gate appears.”Vins didn’t argue back, he solemnly nodded once. Although his relationship with Leiu was bad, there was no need to provoke him at any given opportunity. They were enemies, and the fact that Leiu actually came back to get him meant that, to some extent, his words had convinced him a bit, at least enough to let him come along.“In the meantime, we’re going after Void Rifts. I trust you don’t mind?”“I said I will help.”“Good.”…One week laterAstriaThe Phantom Ocean (South-West of Weiji)Amidst the raging and haunted waters, there was a sky-piercing and unshakable spire that was unaffected by the ten-feet high waves crashing into it.The spire was relatively big and ominous, even at a glance. Leiu spent quite a long time in the Studying Room. Unfortunately, the available information about the Reverie Comos was lacking and unsatisfactory. It just told him what he already knew: The Reverie Cosmos was a separate plane of existence in Mundus, not unlike the Harrowing. It was accessible only to those with ‘high’ spiritual energy, which was simply not enough to go on.Although, even if Leiu knew how to enter it, he wouldn’t go there, at least not now. There were much more pressing matters than delivering Lost Witch to the Reverie Cosmos. The Hell Gate was about to open and he needed to be there when it did. Once he was done with his pondering, Leiu went to talk to Sumbus Darrar.“So?”The old man was in the ‘Living Room’, gobbling down the delicious feast without a care in the world. After wiping his oily lips, the Necromancer awkwardly laughed,“Her name is Emilia. She told me she doesn’t remember what happened… only that you killed her and then she woke up after we killed
“It’s over…”The Elven Chevalier had a look of relief and fatigue on her face. She kept holding on her blade as she stared at Tenebris.Unlike her, he looked absolutely miserable. Whether it was his dirt-covered pale-face, his sweaty and greasy hair, his trembling and bloodied hands, or his shredded clothes.“Hold on. I’ll heal you.”With slow steps, she approached him, unaware that a tiny pit of flesh crawled on the ground and leapt at her arm.“Watch out!”Tenebris saw it first, but his warning came too late. Kusomi, panicking a bit, tried to the flesh but it dug into her skin and then went inside her body. Her body instantly flashed with a silver light, an attempt to use overwhelming energy to force out the worm-like flesh.“Ah…”Kusomi fell to her knees and let go of her estoc, her body convulsing and her mouth coughing blood. The light emitting from her body grew dim and then disappeared. As her body wobbled and then fell to the side, the elf- with all the strength she could mus
[User, there is an increasing fluctuation of energy from the g-]Eva’s voice turned into silence, but more surprising was the abrupt change of environment.Sumbus, Leiu, and Voido, were standing in an endlessly dark world, but the ‘Darkness’ was completely different from the norm. It wasn’t Primordial Darkness or simply an overabundance of Darkness energy. This was something else entirely. Before anyone could speak, innumerable lightning bolts pierced through the ‘darkness’, shattering like glass and revealing an empty space not unlike space itself. There were star wars that were far, far away, but most noticeably, the majority of them were caught one supernova after the other.Leiu and Sumbus felt immense dread as an overwhelming pressure assaulted them, locking them into that empty space. Leiu tried to use the Darkness to protect himself but, surprisingly, it wouldn’t come out. It seemed unresponsive and ineffective as if something was sealing it away.Sumbus fared even worse as h

“Huff… huff..”Leiu was gasping for air aboard the ship’s deck. Anne was hugging him, relieved that he made it out alive.Sumbus was also sitting down, his complexion paler than usual. Before returning to the surface, Leiu closed the Void Rift with the Primordial Darkness. He had less than 20% health remaining and his mind was still befuddled.“I’m… okay, Anne.”“Drink this.”She forced him to drink three Health Potions, which did help with the physical wounds.“Leiu.”The Mermaid Queen stood a couple of feet away. Admittedly, she and Leiu weren’t the best friends, but they did help each other in the ‘past’.“We could’ve killed Him.”
Tenebris sat up and proceeded to wear his bloodied and dirty clothes back.‘I’ll be damned. You actually went through with it. I’m impressed, Tenebris.’While pretending as if he didn’t hear the voice, Tenebris looked to the side. Kusomi also properly sat up and stoically looked at him.“It hurt a bit. Other than that… it wasn’t anything special.”‘Hear that, dumbass? No chance you’re getting laid a second time.’After being pressed by the voice, Tenebris eventually relented and had sex with Kusomi. It wasn’t anything dramatic, and from beginning to end, it barely lasted an hour.Although he got to enjoy the soft body of a beautiful elf, Tenebris wasn’t that happy. He had hoped the two of them would ‘feel’ differently amidst the action and pleasure, but no such thing happened. The virgin elf was inexperienced, so he took the lead, but having sex like that didn’t really mean anything. With the help of the Dark Archmage’s spell, Leiu and Anne were able to dive underwater and breathe. The Void Incarnate, which wasn’t even a living creature, simply jumped down and transformed into somesort of a hideous hammerhead shark.Leiu really wanted to question it as it never said it could change its appearance, but now wasn’t the time. The four swam deeper and deeper until the Void Rifts were in sight. They let out ominous purple glows, all haphazardly scattered everywhere.Albeit not at full speed, Leiu was able to swiftly reach them and used Primordial Darkness to forcefully close them down. Oddly enough, no Voidspawn came out to attack him. Only Void Riftss were present, which, rather than fortunate, felt like a bad omen. Thus, as they kept descending closer and closer to the seafloor, Leiu got rid of any Void Riftss in the way. It was a tedious but not overly-taxing process.Eventually, however, they reached the two, aforementioned, big Void Riftss. They were massive, but
“When is the Hell Gate going to open?”After talking with Elena and the rest, Leiu left Black Mountain City altogether. He looked at his newest companion, the fearful Sumbus Darrar.Startled, the old Necromancer looked at the red moon hanging in the sky. Night has yet to fall, but the moon stuck out like a store thumb. It was still waxing, albeit at a very slow speed.“Two weeks, at most.”“And where’s the gate?”“I… I can only locate it when it is about to open.”As he saw the suspicious stare of the Dark Knight, Sumbus vigorously nodded his head while waving his hands around. “I swear, Dark Knight! I do not dare lie to you!”Seeing how the old man behaved, it was hard to think of him as the one from the legends. He was like an obedient dog, following Leiu and doing everything asked of him.In fact, he was sensible enough to notice Leiu’s relationship with Anne, so he treated the Vampire with the utmost politeness and respect.[User, a suggestion: Eliminate the Administrator in-]‘I
