Saying this, Deus rested his back comfortably on the chair. He had already foresaw this to happen, so it wasn't a surprise to him that the latter won against his opponent, but what surprised him was that the student was actually a shadow crest user.

This crest was included in the Legendary Class, of course. It works almost similar to my Darkness. The only thing different was that unlike darkness, the shadow crest requires shadows from shades of an object, person, or other things like trees, walls and etc., as what said from it's name, to work or function. And also, unlike the darkness crest, light magic can either give shadow an advantage or disadvantage depending on the situation.
