Audrey rolled her eyes, "Oh not again."

George chuckled, "Come on Audrey, you don't address your mom in such a manner."

Madeline,Audrey’s mother, eyed Adrian and turned her gaze towards Audrey,

"How many times do I have to tell you to always stick by the rules Audrey?"

She scoffed looking away, "Urghh, Can you not nag me for once mum?.” She turned her gaze to Adrian “I am hungry. Can we please head towards where the dinner is being held?"

Adrian, who just stood there confused and staring at the two of them, saw that as an opportunity to get her away from Madeline. The words Audrey spoke about her mother not being nice made much sense. The look she gave him wasn't nice at all.

His only worry was putting up with someone who probably didn’t like him, whereas he doesn't know anything about her. Adrian and Audrey spoke in low tunes as they both tailed the waiter who led them to a big hall where the dining was taking place.
