Helda left, tossing her blonde, wavy shoulder length extensions dramatically as she walked away. Shilla rolled her eyes.

“So rude”

She couldn't understand it. Helda always spoke to her like they had some unspoken beef between them. Always trying to put her in place. Or claiming to be that way. Something that was just too obviously insecure about her attitude.

Shilla got back to her client but he'd waited for her too long and he had to leave.

“I have a meeting in an hour's time. I need to go now”

“Oh…. I'm so sorry Mr. Williams for keeping you waiting like that. I deeply apologize”

“It's okay. I understand. But I have to go now so we may need to finish whatever we are discussing some other time?”

“Oh yes… umm… “

“Should we schedule a date?”

“Oh no, a physical meeting wouldn't be necessary Mr. Williams. Whatever conclusion we need to come to would be duly done virtually. I'll just send your secretary the link. How's 7 p.m for you today?”

“Umm…well … I can't say I'll be avai
