Gu LinFang silently listened but never said a word, neither did he slow down his steps, so they gave up. soon He arrived in front of a big building that had a Huge silver plaque above the entrance that said Changfeng Auctions.

There were three guards at the entrance, who were dressed in white and blue armor, their sweats and resolute expressions once again made him fill that this world just might not be only a game as he's made to believe.

He decided to carry out his plan and increase his alchemist rank, 'First things First, Level up my alchemy profession'.

A slight dizziness assaulted him as some information appeared in his mind, all the basic pill knowledge a Lv 4 alchemist should know, he now knew them. For Intermediate or advanced knowledge, He would need blue prints.

'For the following level, I'll be needing 20k+ Exp?', He shook his head thinking, 'it'd take a long time before I bother with you again'.

And so he led Gu Linju as they moved up to the entrance where he got stopped by the three guards there, they questioned and directed him in the direction he should go to sell or buy things after letting him in, the face slapping section he was expecting didn't happen.

'As expected, those MC's made themselves look like they needed to be bullied... wait, almost forgot hehe, I'm not an mc' He silently mused with a sarcastic laugh in his head.

Unfortunately before long an excergerated shout came from inside as soon as they got to the entrance.

Inside was a large stone hall with another plaque with letters that meant, "Trading platform".

From within, a slightly chubby young man in ancient Tang dynasty light green Han Fu robes, approached him with a wide smile, totally pretending that he hadn't the one who fell while squealing like a pig.

Of course, Gu Linfang wore a knowing smile as Gu Linju put the umbrella in the bamboo case.

He let out a cough before speaking in a rushed manner. His speech seemed to be all over the place as well, actually Gu Linfang heard him clearly and noticed that he had looked at his daughter four times in a row while speaking, Seeing no change in the duos expression, he collected himself better after a few seconds.

'young man, I bet you haven't seen the world...' Gu Lin Fang subconsciously gave him a (garden flower) tag in his head.

He did his best to calm down before speaking, while he still struggled to stand calmly in front of Gu Lin fang, He began to have the illusion of talking to someone on the same level as his father, the Chang clan's patriarch... that intimidating presence, even though he wasn't able to feel him earlier.

While he was accessing Gu Lin Fang, Gu Linju was doing the same as she automatically branded Chang ye with a (Stupid) tag, as She could not understand why the latter was shaking.

The man was surprised a little by the way Gu Lin Fang phrased himself before saying, "y...yes".

"Good, I'll like to see what you have first... or No, I'll sell some of the pills In my possession, I just made them recently, and perhaps buy some furniture as well".

Chang ye was still wrapped around the fact that Gu Lin Fang referred to himself as 'This seat'  when he heard Gu Lin Fang positioned himself as an Alchemist...

"T...this way." The chubby fellow cleared his throat and wore a serious expression immediately.

"Right this way Senior, how do I address you?" Chang ye continues to speak as they made a turn to the right, He was quite fast considering his size.

"Gu" was all Gu Lin Fang said but Chang ye felt he had heard this name somewhere but couldn't place his finger on it.

They soon arrived at what looked like a VIP lounge, Chang ye quickly opened the door and walked in.

"Fourth Young Master!!" A woman opened her eyes wide and stood up, she then bowed to Chang ye, there was no hesitation whatsoever.

Chang ye had an awkward smile while speaking to the woman, " bring some Heart soothing tea".

"Yes Young Master Ye" She bows again while taking a small glimpse of Gu Linju before rushing out.

Gu Lin Fang noticed this action as well and couldn't help thinking, 'hmm the little girl might be much visually stunning than I already judged her to be... That's good'.

It didn't take long before the attendant returned with the materials and began brewing some tea in front of everyone.

They silently watched her work, Although her hands were shaking slightly, she did great overall.

"You'er help me call Master Fu" Chang ye says to the 'tea girl'.

Surprised, she stared wide eyed at Chang ye before responding, "Yes young Master"

Once she exited the room, Chang ye said to Gu Lin Fang, "Master Fu is presently this Branch's senior appraiser, please, have a sit...can I see the pills"

Gu Linfang silently sat down, he brought out two porcelain bottles and placed them on the table. Gu Linju sat next to him before crossing her legs and waiting calmly.

One was the white grade Qi restoration pill and the other was a green Yang Purification pill for purifying the body of poison and yin Qi.

Each Bottle had six pills inside, these pills he brought out were the lowest of the total amount pills he got from the package.

A medicinal scent permeated in the air silently without even touching the bottle, this shocked Chang ye.

Not long after, The woman returned and began brewing another batch silently. Gu Linfang observed her actions and began considering getting a personal tea Brewer or something.

Chang ye on the other hand, eyed  Gu Linju from time to time just as he picked up his tea and sipped, mimicking the Father and daughter Duo.

A minute later, an old man, dressed in a plain Gray robe stepped in, Gu Lin fang believes this was the Appraiser.

"Master Fu, your here... please come!"The already impatient Chang young master called out.

Master Fu eyes focused slightly when he looked at Gu Lin Fang, he couldn't sense this man even though he was sitting right in front of him, in fact, it was almost like he would forget about him the moment he looks away.

Master Fu smiled lightly before cupping his fist in greeting, to which Gu fang reciprocated.

"Greetings Master Fu... This one is called Gu Lin Fang and this is my daughter Gu Linju, I've long heard your name resounding amongst the masses." He says with a small smile, the reason he was suddenly trying to be a bit more friendly was because He could sense the other party's cultivation.

'Middle stage Nascent soul, this old man was at the 5th level of the Nascent soul realm at the very least!' Although He didn't have much change in expression, Inwardly Gu Lin Fang was slightly surprised.

"Nonsense, No need for such praises Brother Gu... I'm not worthy." His words didn't surprise Gu Lin fang but it wasn't the same for Chang ye, though he chose to keep quiet.

"Are these what you wish to appraise?" Master Fu asks while pulling out a monocle that soon glowed pale blue light as he took out a pill each from the porcelain bottles before moving the monocle closer and started examining the item.

"This!... This is a perfect grade Qi restoration pill, where did you find this?!!...also this...this one is a pure Yang Purification pill, although rare it's...!!!... Perfect grade!!", Master Fu Spoke while looking at the two pills, his voice rises into a surprised tone.

Gu Lin fang didn't have much of a change in expression as he thought about this, 'Perfect grade?... I don't know if I can make that on my own, I'll have to buy some alchemy equipment later on'.

Chang ye was speechless, "..."

Master Fu quickly put back the pills into the bottles with a serious expression, "Brother Gu, where did you find these pills?"

"He says he made them..."Chang ye corrected from the side, that shocked Master Fu slightly.

Seeing their expressions, Gu Lin Fang says, "Where can something be so good Brother Fu, I just happened to have a little stroke of luck yesterday and managed to make this two bottles, normally they aren't that good."

"..."

"Oh..."

Technically He wasn't lying, but he believes it wouldn't be a problem.

But even still, Master Fu was still a bit astonished at Gu Linfang's words,"you're an alchemist?!".

"yes Brother Fu, though I am only a rank 4 Alchemist" Gu Linfang spoke in a humble manner as he tried to gauge if a level 4 Alchemist had a high value or not, he picked up his tea for another sip while observing.

""Rank 4?!!""Both Master Fu and Chang ye were shocked, even Gu Linju began coughing lightly.

Gu Linju looked at her father with a dazed expression, once again affirming her belief that she really didn't know anything about her father aside from his doting.

While they were all shocked, Master Fu was thinking something else...

'it's not every day you see a high level alchemist, being a Rank 2 alchemist would make you a rich man in some areas, Chang clan only had 2 rank four alchemist under their banner and they are considered well off as the sales of their pills brought in a lot of money!'

Both Chang ye and Master Fu looked at each other's expression before nodding, like they had made a decision.

Meanwhile, Gu fang was looking at the new notification and seemed to have understood something.

"We can offer you 1 thousand low tier spirit stones for Yang purification pill or 1 middle-tier spirit stone." Chang ye finally spoke, "As for the Qi restoration pill, we can only offer 30 low grade spirit stones, you should understand... although it's perfect grade, it's just a lower level pill...".
