Realm Breaker's Calamitous Ascension

Changing Lucas's Constitution

Leya placed Lucas in the middle of a runic magic circle she inscribed on the ground. She squatted down, held Lucas's face and gently said to him with a smile 

"Baby, can you please close your eyes and stand here for a few minutes? Mama will have to distance herself from you to do this ceremony. Don't worry, everything will be alright and I'll come to you as soon as this is over."

Lucas being the obedient child he was, readily agreed to his mother's request by nodding in approval. Leya smiled and gave him a loving kiss on his forehead and distanced herself a bit from him. 

Leya picked up Lucy, supported her butt with her palms and put her in a frontal hug position. She gently pressed her head down and made her rest on her shoulders while casting a sleep spell on Lucy. 

Leya didn't want Lucy to witness what was about to occur, so she put her to sleep. Leya then looked at Lucas who was standing in the middle of the runic magic circle with his eyes closed. 

Leya kept looking at Lucas for a few seconds with a warm and loving gaze and then, she took a deep breath and muttered 

"Here it goes." 

Leya extended her hand forward and a long cut appeared on her wrist on its own. Blood poured out of her wrist and onto the ground but magically didn't scatter around and flowed along the inscriptions Leya made on the ground.

After a minute, the big runic magic circle was filled with Leya's blood and it started emitting a red luster. The magic circle took a lift off the ground and spinned in mid air, first slowly and then picked up its pace and spinned faster. 

The magic circle then shrunk down until it became a red ring around Lucas's body. The red ring rotated and spinned around Lucas's body and shrunk down once again until it was inscribed onto him. 

Lucas's body now looked to be filled with red tattoos containing some mysterious and sacred looking runic letters. Soon, these letters dissolved into his body and disappeared.

A few seconds passed and Leya clenched her fist tightly while looking at Lucas. She grit her teeth and braced herself for what she was about to see. 

Lucas's body trembled and his skin started falling off. Within a matter of a few seconds, Lucas now looked nothing like his previous pretty and cute self and now seemed to be a blood monster of some sort.

Leya felt pain watching her child go through such a situation but she knew that Lucas wasn't feeling anything more than a tickle right now and was currently unconscious. The runic magic circle she made was done in such a way that it neither caused any pain nor any discomfort and put Lucas into a state of unconsciousness so that he doesn't open his eyes in the middle and see a gorey scene of himself.

Soon, many different parts of Lucas's body disintegrated and healed, growing back to how they were previously. His whole constitution, be it his body, spirit or soul, underwent a complete change and after a few more minutes, Lucas was back to normal. 

The runic inscriptions on his body appeared once again and condensed towards his forehead. They stopped condensing once all the runes from his body had moved towards Lucas's forehead. The runes were now present in a super condensed form and it looked like Lucas had a line of red string of words written on his forehead.

The runes disappeared shortly after that and the effect of the runic magic circle was over. Lucas was now without the support of the runic magic circle and he wobbled and was about to fall down when Leya took a step and reached him, saving him from falling down.

Leya now had Lucy sleeping in her embrace and she was resting on one arm of Leya while Lucas was being supported with the other hand. Leya hugged Lucas and tapped on the ground with her feet lightly.

A red mat flew out of the ground magically and laid beneath Leya's feet. Leya sat down and placed Lucy's head on her lap. Leya made Lucas sit beside him and supported him by hugging him through his waist. 

One of her hands was free now as she didn't need to support Lucy. She extended her hand forward and took out a set of clothes from thin air. It was Lucas's which were present at home.

Leya, when she extended her hand, made a temporary portal connecting the space in front of her and the one near the closet in her home and thereby took them out. It was nothing but a trivial thing to do for her. 

She dressed Lucas up and placed him on her lap. Now, both her children were sleeping on her lap and she gently caressed their hair and ensured they slept peacefully and soundly.

Border of Gilmer Forest.

"Holy shit dude, what happened in the core to make these creatures go wild like that?" A man wearing black armoured clothes said while attacking an elephant-like beast.

"I don't know! Don't ask me such shit while I am in the midst of battle!" Another man with the same armoured clothes yelled back at the man who asked such a question while blocking the fangs of a leopard-like beast with his hand.

The two continued to attack and defend against the attacks of these beasts and finally they pushed them back to the core area and out of the border. It was not just the two of them who were trying to push these creatures back, there were many more personnels like them.

After the creatures were pushed back, a team of 10 personnels moved towards the center of the core area to find out what the anomaly was that took place there. The center area within 25 km² couldn't be seen on the surveillance screens and the creatures too were pushed out from it, causing such chaos. 

The team had to find out what occurred and so, they moved towards it. After reaching there, they found out that there was a transparent barrier present. They could see through it but they couldn't move inside and were blocked. They attacked the barrier, hoping to break it but it was all for naught.

"Hmm, what or who has made this barrier?" A man asked, wearing armoured clothes.

"I have no idea, just keep attacking, there is no barrier in this world that we, the Remzal super forces cannot break." Another man said while attacking the barrier.

"That's true. Alright, let's break it first and then see for ourselves who is that bastard that caused us so much trouble." The man who asked the question before said. 

The 10 people who called themselves as Remzal super forces, continued to attack after chatting for a short while.

Leya was looking lovingly at Lucas and Lucy who were sleeping. She had noticed that some people were trying to break the barrier. She wasn't worried about the barrier breaking at all, but it did annoy her that some bugs were trying to disturb her peace.

After a few minutes, she found these people whom she thought of as bugs still attacking the barrier and trying to break free. She got more annoyed and so, she stopped caressing Lucas's head and raised her hand a bit and waved it. After this small action, she continued to caress Lucas's head.

Outside Leya's barrier.

"Fuck! Why is it still not breaking?!" A man from Remzal super forces yelled. 

"AH! I AM GETTING ANNOYED WITH THIS! WHICH BASTARD MADE THIS BARRIER! I SWEAR I AM GONNA KIL-" 

SPLAT! SPLAT! SPLAT!

The body of the man who was cursing burst and a series of bursting sounds were heard. It was the sound from bodies of the Remzal super forces personnel bursting.

Control room, border of core area.

"FUCK!" A man yelled looking at the surveillance screen. 

The others in the room except for him gasped in horror. They had never seen such a gorey in their life and they never expected to see one happen with the personnels of their own forces!

They were from one of the top 7 forces of the world, the Remzal Super Forces or RSF for short. Not many had the power to kill even one person from such a force. 

Such powerful individuals could only be found openly in the top 7 forces of the world. There were 7 countries in the world and each had one special force. The Arrowstorm country in which the Astaroth household was currently residing was one of the 7 countries and had RSF as their special force. 

The people present in the room were at a loss in what to do. They never expected such a situation to occur. Soon, one of the person calmed down and sent a recording of the personnels getting killed to the headquarters of the RSF. 

They followed the protocols given to them and reported it to the respective organizations. Though they did that, they were still shaken from watching such a horrifying scene and till now, had no idea what caused the demise of these people.

Leya was currently in the midst of caressing Lucas and Lucy's heads. She was the one to cause the demise of the ten people from RSF. She found them annoying as they kept attacking the barrier and disturbing her peaceful time with her children; so she killed them. 

Leya looked at Lucas with a loving gaze and felt a bit emotional. She said in a soft and gentle tone

"My baby, you have finally become mine. I was waiting for this day since the time I considered you to be my son. There won't be any more barriers between us from now on.

Mama will always ensure to provide you with nothing but the best. Having you inherit all my powers is just the first step of it. The gap between you and your sister is closed and I can finally be relieved and watch you two compete with each other, fufufu…" 

She kissed Lucas's forehead and continued

"...I love you Lucas, my baby. I will continue to do so for now and forever."
