However, when he glanced sideways, he noticed his leader making hand signals indicating that he had to make a run for it, but the orc hesitated; as he didn’t want to make himself Lyra’s next target, but the stern stare from his leader made it clear that rejecting a direct order meant certain death.

Caught between the archer and his captain, he knew he had no choice.

Their line of work was inherently risky, as they ventured into enemy territory without support, however, this mission had proven to be a complete failure.

And it no seemed there was no hope left for their squad, with only two members remaining.

With a nod, the orc signalled that he understood the plan and was prepared to proceed, this elicited a smile from the orc captain, who then gave another hand signal, counting down from three.
