Small Briefing.

Several hours had passed since Jax was transmigrated into this new world, and he had managed to sift through the overwhelming amount of new memories to extract the most critical information.

Firstly, he discovered that he had entered a world called Realms of Kings, which was quite evident since it was the game that had brought him here.

In this world, there were kings scattered throughout every corner of the vast lands , and based on his memories, the world seemed to be about twenty times larger than Earth.

Though there were kingdoms everywhere, not all of them were prosperous.

Some were merely subsidiaries of larger kingdoms.

Similar to Jax's situation, he was the son of a king from a Tier 4 kingdom who had thirteen children.

His father had granted them portions of his kingdom to develop and become their own kings, but they all remained under his authority and had to pay tributes.

These arrangements were common in the Realm of Kings, with other kings adopting similar practices, particularly those who had conquered numerous lands.

However, with the multitude of kingdoms and the scarcity of resources, wars were frequent, and a single misstep could result in the destruction of an entire kingdom.

To mitigate this, alliances were formed all over, predominantly among races of the same kind.

The human race, especially those from the wastelands, faced the most pressing challenges.

They were relatively weak compared to other races.

Nevertheless, since one of the human kingdoms had been promoted to a empire, the other races had withdrawn their attacks and became less aggressive against the humans of the Waste lands.

This was due to the emperor's protective instincts towards the kingdoms under his reign, he took all the Kings in the waste land under him.

If anyone dared to cross the line, he didn't hesitate to destroy a few kingdoms as a deterrent.

Consequently, it was primarily the lower-tier human kingdoms that found themselves embroiled in wars at the moment.

The emperor of the human race at the Waste Land region had little concern for the destruction of these insignificant kingdoms.

In the wastelands, he held the position of leader among the human races.

However, in other region territories, there were other human emperors who faced much stronger enemies, making it difficult for them to always provide assistance, to themselves.

As Jax gazed upon the kingdom his father had bestowed upon him, a sense of defeat washed over him. The village he had been given didn't resemble a kingdom in any way.

It felt as though his father had abandoned him here simply because he was his thirteenth and illegitimate child, someone he was ashamed to acknowledge to the world.

Due to Jax's lack of talent in cultivation, his father sent him to one of the most undesirable lands within the kingdom.

He proclaimed Jax as king there and made it clear that he would no longer be considered his son, that way Jax would have no claim to his throne.

It was a strange way for his father to show his twisted version of love.

As his father ruthlessly severed all ties with him, Jax was taken aback but understood that he now had to survive on his own.

His first order of business was to gather a group of skilled warriors, although he had no idea how he would accomplish that at the moment.

The Village desperately needed security in order to withstand any potential onslaught from beasts or other invading Kings, that might decide to become interested in his small village.

He strolled through his small town, observing the villagers as they gathered wood and mined stones.

Some ventured deeper into the forest to extract coal.

Jax knew these workers were being paid by the lady who served him.

She had been chosen by his father to be his wife, as her family owed a significant debt to his father, a Tier 4 king.

His father took her daughter as compensation to clear the debt and discarded her to be with his useless son.

His father knew the previous Jax lacked talent in combat or town management, let alone ruling a kingdom.

Nevertheless, she was now attempting to assist Jax in one of those areas.

The old Jax had never appreciated her efforts, but the new Jax did.

His memories reminded him that this town could only continue to function thanks to her unwavering dedication to serving.

Despite her strong resentment towards Jax for being forced into marriage with him when he was undeniably a bastard child, Nonetheless, she still remained his wife.

And she, in turn, paid the villagers for their services.

She sold the gathered resources to wealthier towns with more reliable human Kings nearby.

Alternatively, she traded with the traders who visited the town, using the small profits she made to keep the village running and make necessary repairs to the village walls, which were constructed with sticks.

Many residents feared that their kingdom wouldn't survive since they lacked soldiers, meaning that if a full-scale war were to break out, they would be defenseless.

Despite this uncertainty, they held onto hope that Jax's father would continue to shield their land from war, as he had always done in the past.

They believed that if enemies ever attempted to invade, they would be dealt with before reaching them.

After all, Jax's small village was located on the outer edges of his father's kingdom, even though his father had disowned him.

It didn't change the fact that he was still a subsidiary of his father's kingdom.

As Jax walked throughout his town, he was greeted by smiling faces almost everywhere he turned.

This only strengthened his determination to find a way to protect these kind people.

He couldn't bear the thought of losing them to war.

In his previous world, he had been bullied and felt isolated as a child until he discovered solace in games.

But here, he found women who greeted him warmly with radiant smiles, and children who embraced him whenever they saw him.

Their laughter was like music to his ears.

It only fueled his resolve to grow stronger before the threat of war could take all of this away from him.

Though he had a significant amount of land, most of it remained vacant due to the low population.

He only had about two thousand people living within his village territory, and he had plans to change that soon.

Jax made his way to his throne room to continue contemplating his options for hiring mercenaries.

He settled into his wooden throne, adorned with plush cushions, and let out a sigh.

In that moment, he felt a strange connection.
