After Jax had finished discussing plans for the location of the barracks and camp with his team, he prepared to leave when he was suddenly halted by the leader of the builders, Again.

who swiftly stepped in front of him.

"Hey, King, you may not be aware, but without the Town Hall, we won't be able to proceed with any other construction," the builder explained.

Jax blinked in confusion.

"Town Hall?, What's that supposed to be?"

The leader of the builders sighed.

"Take a look at where you're currently residing, boss, It's not yet a Tier 1 Town Hall, which means nothing will function properly, including the hiring of soldiers from the camp, your Town Hall is normally your Palace, home, or center of command."

Jax let out a frustrated grunt.

"So how much will it cost to get this Town Hall built?" he inquired.

"About 1000 Gold coins," the leader builder replied.

Jax's eyes widened in disbelief.

"What the hell! Fine, just get it done," he said as he took out another 1000 coins and paid the builder.

"Get it finished. I'm going inside to get some sleep," Jax instructed, feeling slightly exasperated.

"Apologies for the inconvenience, boss, but for the next two hours, you won't be able to utilize your room since we'll be using your house as the foundation for the new Town Hall," the builder informed him.

Jax groaned in frustration.

"Oh, for fu*k's sake! Well, I guess I'll have to watch you all then, since I can't even sleep in my own house," he grumbled, resigning himself to forfeiting the nap he had initially wanted.

Jax observed the builders as they set to work.

Initially, he had thought they would employ some sort of magical technique to transform the house.

However, to his surprise, several of the builders ventured into the nearby forest to gather trees, returning to chop the wood and systematically demolish the existing structure.

As the townspeople witnessed this unexpected development, they were perplexed about the identities of these unknown workers.

However, upon seeing their king carefully watching and supervising the entire process, they surmised that he must be involved somehow.

Although uncertain as to why their king would willingly dismantle his own home, a few concerned citizens approached Jax's wife, who was still overseeing the mining operations, to express their apprehensions about his decisions.

After all, the responsibility of managing the town's day-to-day affairs fell on her shoulders, and it was precisely because of her strategic decisions that the town continued to thrive.

After hearing about the construction of there new home, Jax's wife rushed to their house to find a stunning new structure being built in its place.

Initially intending to voice her complaints and shout at Jax, she was left speechless as she laid eyes on the beautiful house taking form.

She finally managed to find her voice after a few moments.

"My Lord, who are they?" she asked, her surprise evident in her tone.

Jax responded with a smile.

"Oh, those are the new personal builders I've hired to work for me, Don't worry; they'll soon be finished with the renovation of our new home."

His smile caught her off guard.

She was accustomed to him being constantly angry and often taking it out on her due to his frustrations with his lack of tangible accomplishments.

But here he was, smiling at her, Ever since he had knocked his head, he had been behaving differently—like a different person altogether.

Though she couldn't quite discern what had happened during his unconsciousness, she appreciated this change in him.

An hour later, the new house was completed, radiating beauty more than ever.

The builders had taken great care in painting it white, with a mix of blue and green for the roof and edges, giving the new Town Hall a captivating glow.

[Town Hall completed + 1000 spirit Coin.]

[Inventory space gained.]

[Congratulations on becoming a Tier 1 king.]

The flurry of notifications added to Jax's joy as he stretched his hands forward, beckoning his wife to take hold of them.

As soon as their hands were clasped together, he gently led her into their new home, which now served as the impressive Town Hall—a significant upgrade from its previous state.

The Town Hall easily stood out among the other houses, and Jax's wife couldn't contain her excitement about the new development.

"I still can't wrap my head around how you were able to find craftsmen with such remarkable skills and expertise, It's incredible that they even agreed to work for you, considering the cost it would normally entail."

" And I know you didn't take any money from me since I manage our Village Finance , so how did you manage it?" she asked Jax, knowing that she was in charge of the town's finances.

"You don't need to worry your little head about all that, Just know that things are going to turn around for us now that I'm back to full health,"

Jax reassured her, gently pulling her closer and placing his hands around her waist.

As he tried to show his appreciation and feel her body against his, she suddenly tensed up and quickly moved out of his embrace.

However, Jax only smiled slightly, realizing that she hadn't rejected him, but had simply moved away.

"What is your name?" Jax asked.

"Huh?" she blurted out, her face filled with surprise.

"I'm asking you. Don't you understand what I just said?" Jax repeated.

"I do understand. I'm just taken aback by the question. Well, my name is Alicia," she replied.

"Very well then, Alicia. I acknowledge you as my wife," Jax declared.

Jax understood her surprise.

In the past, the old owner of the body had been a jerk, taking out his anger and frustrations on his wife.

He felt powerless when his father had sent him to this seemingly barren land, and he had lashed out at Alicia with hurtful words, at every chance he got.

Physical violence was never something he resorted to, as he had promised his mother never to follow in his father's footsteps.

It also meant that he had never bothered to ask for her name, as he had never truly accepted her as his wife.

He felt like his father had forced him into this marriage just to get him out of the house.

That's why Alicia had been working tirelessly for the town, doing everything in her power to make it flourish.

In the hopes that one day he would acknowledge her, since he was her lifelong husband, she had no substitutes.

And today, he finally uttered the words she had longed to hear.

Tears of joy welled up in her eyes, breaking down the protective walls of sarcasm she had so often donned to shield her vulnerable heart.

As her husband declared his acceptance, she couldn't help but let the tears flow.

This was a moment she had been waiting for, but she never anticipated how overwhelming her reaction would be.

She collapsed into his embrace, lightly sobbing, and Jax delicately rubbed her back, providing comfort.

He felt a sense of pride after resolving one of the lingering issues left behind by his previous self.
