Chapter 38: Disguise

Alex was on one side, studying, trying to recall the appearance of that type of medicine.

He wanted to replicate it to test it on this monster.

Just then, Aegis suddenly exclaimed, "Alex, the monster is calm again!"

Knowing that conventional slashes couldn't kill the creature, Aegis didn't dare to risk attacking.

He quickly created a protective barrier, blocking the monster and preventing it from moving forward.

However, the creature, though appearing slow, had an astonishing weight.

Aegis gritted his teeth, maintaining the defensive shield.

Alex glanced at him and said, "Hang in there. I'm almost done."

Hearing this, Aegis could only try his best.

If they were eaten by this monster, they would die.

Jumping down from here would mean facing a street full of monsters with no other option but to wait for Alex.

Alex began to sketch in his mind.

He could only remember the shape, color, and function of that medicine, hoping it would be effective.
