Mark and Celine couldn't believe their eyes. "Fuck!" Celine cried out in anger as she kicked the center table in front of her, sending all the decorative ornaments on it, sprawling all around and the maids who lingered around, flinching. ~Four Years Ago.~In the dimly lit corridors of a grand mansion, a loud crashing sound reverberated through the air, stealing the silence that had enveloped the house. Circe, who had just returned home from a week’s long travel, furrowed her brow as she ascended the stairs, each step creaking beneath her measured weight. He had taken his time to dress up, adorning a casual grey long sleeve, brown long coat on the outside and a simple pair of black jeans. Leon walked into his office the next morning with a subtle smile on his lips, his mind still replaying his encounter with Celine the previous night and relishing in every part of it. Each time he remembered how she looked surprised that her plan didn’t go according to how she wanted it, Leon could only but snicker. It was only the beginning, yet she was leaving herself open like a book without cover. The more he thought about it, the more entertaining and funny it got to him, but he couldn't allow himself to be consumed by it. Stepping into his office, he shut the door behind him, sinking into his plush leather chair.
