Boran immediately assisted Freida and took her to a nearby café, which was not that far away given that the city of Itum appears to have a lot of them around.Frieda continued to have difficulty looking either of them in the eye once they were inside the coffee shop. She continued to feel embarrassed about how she had thought about their relationship with one another. Even though Boran and Louisa were totally unaware of the unsettling behavior that Freida had been displaying toward them, it continues to worry them that she might still be in some sort of shock about what might have happened to her back in the streets. Boran was unable to maintain his silence for much longer once he realized that Freida had not uttered a single word to them since the moment, they entered the coffee shop. He eventually took the initiative to speak with Freida, but whatever he was going to say was abruptly cut off by a breaking news story that was broadcast on the LED Screen television that was hanging o
Freida’s sleeve began to tremble as the cold crept up her body. She was unable to believe that this was actually happening. She briefly attempted to pinch some skin to see if she was simply having another nightmare, but sure enough, the pinch hurt her. This can only be taken to mean that she wasn't actually having a nightmare. That the monster threateningly posing in front of her was actually planning to attack her once more. Even though Freida was experiencing a great deal of fear, she knew that she had to devise a strategy in order to keep her grandmother safe from the monster. So, she took her grandmother's wooden baston and used it to attack the monster. At first, the monster was brazening enough that it did not display any fear when confronted by Freida's weapon. It tried to hiss its long dark tongue in front of Freida, making it appear as though it was some kind of poisonous king cobra that was just waiting for the right moment to pounce on its prey. It was indeed a vicious cre
Unbeknownst to the monster, Freida had already managed to retrieve her grandmothers' baston. She was quick enough to thrust the other end of the baston at the center of the monster's forehead at almost the exact moment the monster turned around to attack Freida. As her attempt succeeded in penetrating its head, Freida's jaw dropped. She rammed the baston even further into its head by putting more pressure on it. The impact of the thrust was so strong that its flesh made a cracking sound. When Freida pulled it out, an odd bead flew out from the wound she had caused. It was so quick that Freida wasn't able to anticipate it dropping inside her mouth, which is how she accidentally swallowed the bead. The bead gave off a sour and bitter taste inside her mouth, to the point where she could feel the back of her throat getting a bit sore as it moved through her mouth. As Freida watched the monster fall to the ground, she couldn't help but hack up a lung, and it seemed like it would never st
“Boran, Grandmother. No!!!!!”The loud scream that Freida let out competed with the constant barrage of noise that the storm produced. It was at a volume that allowed the volunteers working inside the evacuation center to pick up on her voice. The two victims of the accident—Boran and Freida's grandmother—are being quickly rescued by rescuers as they quickly move in past her direction. She fell while her eyes were unable to focus on anything other than the sight of Boran and her grandmother being separated by the people who had come to their aid. She hits her knees on the sharp pebbles strewn beneath her, and they throb from kissing the muddy ground. Even though her face was being washed by the raindrops, the tears continued to stream down her cheeks. When she was being blown off the ground by the strong winds, one of the people who were helping her grabbed her around the waist to pull her in.“No, wait! I have to help them!” She screamed. However, the person who came to her aid did
The last of his apprentice fell before his sight and yet the lord of greed didn’t even falter even for single bit. It was as though he even cared less towards his own men that his eyes were just focused on Vandread.Vandread on the other hand was sweating from defeating Ardo. He took the nemesis and wiped the general’s blood off his sword. He then raised the edge of his sword and pointed it outward. And then, Vandread began to open his mouth after a series of heavy breathing, “So we meet again, Mimozu.” Vandread called out to the man standing from the other end of the aisle. Somehow, Mimozu’s left brow raised a bit. He was curious why did Vandread sounded like he knew who Mimozu was. At that abrupt moment, Mimozu realized that that could also be an outrageous possibility. Mimozu had never met this man standing before him yet, so there was no certainty that he was already feeling acquainted with him. However, Mimozu couldn’t shake off the nagging feeling that somehow, there was a s
Mimozu immediately charged forward to attack Vandread head on. In a swift moment, he was quick to take out two sharp broad curved swords that were earlier stashed away on his back. In his quick demonstration of onslaught, Mimozu remarkably portrayed a well-skilled warrior when it comes to close up combat. He immediately attacked Vandread without any hesitation. He gave out force specially from the way he placed his pressure against the sword. Vandread was also quick to block the attack using the sword, nemesis. Simply by doing that, Vandread immediately was able to feel that Mimozu had gained an even greater strength compared to when he last fought him. There was also a little hunch that Vandread could not just let go and it was that perhaps, his body was already wearing off slowly due to the endless fight he had already gone through. Fighting not once, not twice, but thrice in a row now would only make sense for him to feel a little weary to fight the big boss of those punks he de
One time, as Mimozu was visiting the lands of Blackstone, he got caught up in an ambush that Vandread had set upon him. Vandread had been anticipating that very moment where he could finally take on Mimozu head on.Being his right hand, no one from the rest of Mimozu’s men stood up against Vandread, all of them fear him as much as they fear Mimozu. They freely allowed th two to take on the fight on their own without anyone stopping them. With the use of an ordinary sword back then, Vandread was able to counter every attack that Mimozu had been inflicting on him. It was as though Vandread have already mastered every move that Mimozu has been doing.Perhaps it was because Vandread had been fighting alongside Mimozu that Mimozu failed to notice Vandread was already observing the way he fought in battle. It didn’t dawn on Mimozu that Vandread would one day betray him and much worst, would use his own tactics in battle against.Vandread countered Mimozu’s attack and made a flash sidestep t
But that was something that Mimozu was able to immediately block. Vandread has been observing Mimozu for quite a long time, and indeed, he was able to understand all of the skills that he could do during the fight. However, that wasn’t enough for Vandread.Since what Vandread failed to understand while he was observing Mimozu was that he was also capable of extending his strength to a greater length. Among the 7 Lords of Darkness, Mimozu is one of those who could do such.Vandread failed to force his sword against him since Mimozu was able to block it right away. And Vandread found himself in complete surprise when Mimozu was able to inflict so much pressure to get off his attack.Mimozu immediately pushed Vandread away from him. It was so forceful that Vandread even flung outward as he hit the concrete post nearby. The table turned in a quick spur moment, this time favoring Mimozu over Vandread. Particularly now that the impact of Vandread hitting the post left his other arm broken
