After a short soak in the steaming water, Vandread stood up. And rather than feeling ashamed of themselves, the crowd from his harem celebrated the torch that was hidden between his thighs.
Princess Camilla, on the other hand, gave the impression that she was completely unfazed by what she was seeing. When Vandread's manhood was brazenly displayed in front of her, it seemed as though he didn't even find it necessary to make fun of her in the slightest.
“What the hell are you even doing here?” After being completely taken aback, Vandread turned to Camilla and asked. His finger was set firmly in her direction.
The expression on Vandread's face communicated a horrified reaction that went beyond simple shock to a much deeper level.
“Was that the right way to greet your wife after all this time?” Princess Camilla also responded to him in the form of a question.
They both stopped as they stared at each other with a blazing glare for a brief period of time. There was nothing that Vandread could find that would encourage him to even greet her in the slightest. He had a strong desire to suffocate her to death, and if there was one thing that he wished he could get right in an instant, it was that.
Vandread, however, would prefer not to allow her life to end in such a simple manner. He desired for her to feel tremendous embarrassment as a result of what he had done to him.
Another image of him being abandoned in the ogre's lair after all of his spirit energy was sucked up by her incantation returned to haunt him once more. This time, the image was even more vivid.
"Master!" yelled out all of the women simultaneously while they were submerged in the steaming hot bath. They moved closer to him as soon as it appeared that he was about to pass out, and they did so without even noticing that they were all standing naked in front of the princess.
Princess Camilla harbored an even deeper and more profound sense of resentment because of the scene. She couldn't even wrap her head around the fact that rather than feeling threatened and insecure because of her presence, it appeared as though Vandread was still enjoying his time with his women.
One of the naked women who was standing closest to Vandread voiced her concern to him by asking, "Master, is there something wrong?"
As he responded, "No, I'm fine," Vandread propped his hand up to his forehead to lean on while he spoke. After that, he instantly readjusted his posture and stood back up on his feet once more.
After a while, the other women helped as much as they could without crowding Vandread. The very scene made Princess Camilla even more enraged than she already was.
As the princess of the kingdom moved closer to the other women, they sensed the need to take a few paces backwards in response. That was the moment the princess completely lost her composure.
“You actually had the audacity to perform such a lewd act in front of your wife?” She let out a piercing scream just inches away from Vandread's face.
But rather than showing his wife any compassion for the way she was feeling, Vandread smiled sarcastically at her and said, "You aren't my wife. You are a parasite who drained the life force from my spirit, you dishonest little whore!”
With each of those words that they had bantered back and forth, the tension that was building up between the two of them started to become more apparent. And before Princess Camilla could even attempt to speak up one more time, an unfamiliar face suddenly entered the steamy bath.
"And what exactly do we have here? Is this some kind of celebration? Wow, I can't believe you forgot to invite me in.” recounted by the dark-haired and bronzed-looking woman. As she made her way into the steamy bath hall, the emerald-colored eyes that adorned her face were fixed on Vandread.
“Wait! Is that you, Shesmaire? You’re here too?” Vandread must have taken it for a mirage, but unfortunately, it's possible that he wasn't imagining things.
It was indeed Shesmaire, and she was standing in front of the other people in nothing but a bath towel wrapped around her chest all the way down to the tops of her upper legs.
This time, Vandread was able to get a clear view of the contours of her breasts. It reminded him of the time when their bodies were close enough for him to draw spirit energy from her luscious breasts. He felt another wave of headache coming on as the thought of reflecting on that period of time entered his mind.
He had been suffering from a strange kind of headache as a direct result of the sudden influx of memories that had been flooding his mind. As the pieces began to fit together in his mind, it became increasingly painful for Vandread to bear the pressure.
As Vandread finally gave out and collapsed in the water, the women from his harem let out another collective shriek of "Master!"
Vandread was under the impression that after he passed out due to the excruciating headache he had, he would eventually reawaken in the same location, which he believed would be in the vicinity of his harem. However, much to his own surprise, he discovered that he was submerged in water.
It was nothing at all like the water in the hot bath, and the one he was in right now appeared to be too deep for him to reach the bottom of it. It was at that precise moment that he became aware that the air that was contained within his lungs was beginning to escape.
Vandread, who was in the process of drowning in whatever body of water he was in at the time, swam to the surface in an effort to prevent himself from passing out and drowning to death. The only thing that was puzzling to Vandread was the fact that it seemed as though he wasn't even moving an inch no matter how many times he tried to swim to the surface by flapping his arms, and this was true regardless of how many times he tried.
The surface, which he was so eager to reach from below, appeared to be impossible for him to reach. He was on the verge of reaching his limit. Vandread could already feel the weakening of his limbs. Moments later, his body eventually stopped from moving neither struggled to get some air.
Vandread couldn’t believe that his life would end up like this. And as the idea of drowning to death processed inside his head, he then completely recalled about the real thing that had happened to him prior to his appearance inside the harem house and here within the depths of an unknown body of water.
‘Giving up so soon, Vandread?’
It was the same familiar voice he had heard before. While processing all of the memories that he believed he had lost for some unknown reason, Vandread made an effort to remember where he had heard it previously.
“Who are you?” Vandread inquired as to when he was unable to remember who it was. He had no intention of opening his eyes because he knew that all he would see when he did so would be the darkness of the water all around him.
‘You already seem to have forgotten the memory of our brief encounter. But, going back to square one, I am but the order of this world. Everything falls into a thin line under my watch.’
“You seem to be a powerful one. I kind of envy you, but in all honesty, I pity you as you don’t have a name.” Vandread replied. There was no way to hide the fact that he harbored resentment toward the voice.
‘Is that so? Why don’t we make a deal then? If you can guess my name correctly, I’ll help you get out of here. I will only give you three chances. if you won’t be able to guess it right, I’ll leave you here and die.’
Once more, an impediment that posed a threat to Vandread's life had to be overcome by him.‘I am waiting for your answer, Vandread.’ And again, the voice repeated itself to him.And since Vandread was already without any other options, he had no choice but to agree, as evidenced by the fact that he responded with "Fine!"If there was anything that got Vandread's attention, it was the sudden realization that he was able to breathe underwater that only just occurred to him at this very moment. It's possible that he was too preoccupied with the presence of this strange yet somewhat familiar voice talking inside his h
‘That’s another incorrect answer.’Vandread must have misunderstood him, but the mysterious voice was not lying to him as he believed it to be; rather, it was the opposite of what he thought it would be. The outcome of Vandread's second guess was the same as the first: it was incorrect. When he had given it such careful consideration, Vandread was at a loss to comprehend why his second guess had turned out to be incorrect. This time, he was certain beyond a shadow of a doubt that the mysterious voice belonged to a sentinel. He could not possibly be a god. He was most certainly neither an angel nor a ghost, and there was no way that he could be a demonic entity. In
The manner in which Vandread expressed himself made it abundantly clear that he intended to be taken seriously. He was determined to have whoever was behind the mysterious voice become his servant. And considering that this would be his last opportunity to make a guess, he would need to identify the unknown voice correctly."I believe you appear to have gained an excessive amount of self-assurance. Have you given it much thought? How confident are you that you'll get it right? I wonder.’ Despite this, the mysterious voice tested him once more."Even if I had to wait for eternity, I would think carefully until I could discover who the hell in this world you are!" Terribly horrifying, grave, and in the end unwavering in its resolve. That was the way Vandread perceived things at the time. He was already experiencing a sense of agitation, but his disdain for the situation and for the mysterious voice who had been playing him for a fool ever since he regained consciousness and almost drow
The clock stopped at exactly 00:00:01. There was no way Vandread was dreaming. He pondered the issue, trying to figure out what could have possibly gone wrong with the clock. However, he was even more perplexed by the fact that he was unable to determine the reason why it occurred. Up until the moment his sudden realization froze him to the spot... ‘You got it right this time, Vandread. I am the system of this world. And at this very moment, you are currently located deep within the core of my system.' The instant that the system validated Vandread's answer, everything that was around Vandread was immediately affected. The barrier of the sphere that had been providing him with air to breathe within it began to dissipate at the same time that the water that had surrounded the areas that were outside the sphere began to recede. As Vandread descended the ground, techno lines began to appear beneath his feet. These techno lines then began to appear all over the surrounding area, as
After reading what was included in the contract, Vandread's eyes widened in shock. He was shocked that the system of this world wanted him to do that after giving it some time to read through.“Wait, what? Are you really serious about this?”‘Yes. And when did I become not serious about anything?’The truth finally dawned on Vandread as he came to the conclusion that the system was, in fact, correct. It never made an attempt to speak of any ridiculous thing, and it never even tried to take things in such a lighthearted manner. Just a few moments ago, it was so serious about taking Vandread's life that it would have done so if he had not been able to figure out what its true name was.“What was written in the contract is insane. You really want me to do that after all my efforts of defeating them?”‘Do you not wish for your revenge?’“Of course, I do!” Vandread strongly affirmed.‘Then it wouldn’t be so hard for you to do this.’“But don’t you understand? These are foes that I have fac
“Tell me more, I want to be enlightened well enough how I could get stronger as the villain of this world?” Vandread answered. Based on the presentation the system had been discussing, he was interested in how things would play out. "Very well," the system responded, quickly presenting a new diagram that detailed the various Lords of darkness with whom he needed to curry favor in order to become his obedient servant. “How would I defeat them? I don’t have any weapon.” ‘You will be granted the sword of vengeance, the ‘nemesis’, which has the ability to absorb the abilities of its enemies and grants the wielder its power.’ Soon after the system told him that, a sword made with black steel appeared before his sight. It was glowing with red smokes around it which added more dread to its appearance. As Vandread was about to grab the sword, the system suddenly halted him by stating, ‘But there was something about this sword that you need to know.’ “What?” Vandread asked. ‘As it absor
‘I have break down the list of the Lord of darkness that you have to tame and become your servants. Each of them will be revealed each time you accomplish gaining one’s favor. For your first journey, you needed to find Mammox. He is the lord of greed, you need to have him as your loyal servant for you will be needing all the wealth and resources he could offer to build your empire.” The system informed him right away.“Mammox? The last time I defeated that asshole was when he tried to infiltrate the kingdom’s treasury vault. But how could I find him now? I don’t even know where the hell that dumbass lives?”‘If you could gather all of the six elemental mages, all of them could bring you to mammox.’“Six? That many?”‘Yes. Earth, Wind, Fire, Water, Ice and lightning. You are lucky because by the time you return, you’ll be encountering the earth mage.’“Can I use my black steel against her? I’m dead sure, i’ll instantly defeat that treacherous earth mage in an instant with my nemesis.
The life-size hologram in front of Vandread that was on the computer screen suddenly vanished as if it had been unplugged from its primary source before he even had a chance to anticipate what was going to happen. Instantaneously, he turned his head to look around, but there was nobody there at all. Perhaps he could only have been seeing things. And while he was preoccupied looking for Lennox's enormous screen, Vandread was instantly swept off by a large hole behind him just a few moments after Lennox became silent.Vandread wanted to resist the powerful pull of the wind that was absorbing him from within, but in the end, no matter how hard he tried, he was still sucked into this black hole.As Vandread was already inside of the abyss, he just couldn’t stop feeling more unease. “Lennox! What the hell is going on here?” Vandread yelled but it would seemed that Lennox didn’t hear him.He tried to repeat calling for Lennox once more but just like earlier, there was no single response fr
