He is the lord of greed, you need to have him as your loyal servant for you will be needing all the wealth and resources he could offer to build your empire.” The system informed him right away.“Mammox? The life-size hologram in front of Vandread that was on the computer screen suddenly vanished as if it had been unplugged from its primary source before he even had a chance to anticipate what was going to happen. Instantaneously, he turned his head to look around, but there was nobody there at all. ‘What’s the need for that footage, master?’ Lennox inquired. "I just wanted to make sure that my suspicions were on the right track. Considering that you informed me that the intruder made a hasty entrance just before the time that I was supposed to travel the path that leads all the way back to Dizencia. ‘What’s wrong, master?’ As soon as Lennox noticed the steadiness that Vandread maintained while concentrating solely on the paused clip that was displayed on the holographic screen that faced him, he immediately questioned him about it. He then addressed Lennox, telling him to "try to zoom the image from the direction behind my back." ‘Yes, master.’ When Lennox was given instructions, he immediately followed them and zoomed the figure in front of Vandread. It was a vague image, but Lennox used his clarity features to further identify it. As a result, the hazy figure transformed into a clear image of a recognizable person at that precise moment. The sudden silence that Vandread sensed emanating from Lennox caused him to become perplexed. “What’s the matter, Lennox?” He asked. Vandread pondered who on Earth could be the person depicted by the image of a man in a gray suit of armor. As soon as Vandread heard Lennox, his face almost completely changed color, and he became very pale. It was never proven, but the possibility that it was true made him extremely worried about his situation along the dimensional pathway. ‘Though, master, that has not yet proven to be the case for you. I'm still working on a more in-depth analysis of the situation. It is highly unlikely that the creator would devise a curse that the dimensional sentinel would be able to circumvent.’ The immediate response of Lennox, who stated that in some way lightened the burdensome load that Vandread was apparently considering, was appreciated.“Actually, what suddenly made me more curious about was what is the dimensional sentinel trying to accomplish after he has proven himself stronger than the rest of the universes?”Vandread waited for a brief moment in the hopes that Lennox would have some insight into the possible cause of the dimensional sentinel's attempt to jump into various universes. Are you saying that I would have to leave my sword behind and find the dimensional sentinel within your core?”Vandread answered Lennox with a look of surprise mixed with a sense of displeasure. He was unaware of the power of the dimensional sentinel and that, as Lennox stated, his spirit energy had not yet fully recovered for him to participate in any combat. Vandread was well aware that he was at a complete disadvantage without his nemesis. ‘I’m afraid that is how it should be the case for you, Master, well, unless there is another option that you can think of?’At that point, Vandread understood that Lennox was correct. As of the moment, there was no other option but to have the nemesis stay behind the dimensional path in his stead, as that would keep the dimensional wall from colliding while Vandread traveled back inside Lennox’s core. “Fine. All I just have to do is find the dimensional sentinel and return him here, to where he belongs. Isn’t that right?”‘
