CHAPTER 162

There came an odd silence from the three of us shortly after I read the contents of the invitation. I had to check between Reagan and Klen once again just to make sure they didn’t even bother making even a single word to react.

“What’s with this silence?” I instantly ask since I really can’t understand where they are probably coming from.

After a short while of silent treatment from them, it was actually Reagan who took the initiative to answer me back. And he said, “I can’t help but suddenly wonder why the Alforques wanted to hold a party out of the blue.”

“Why? Aren’t parties supposed to be something the Alforques are commonly fond of doing?” I inquired.
