Vandread was holding his breath as he waited for the woman to respond to his question. He was completely perplexed by what was taking place, but instead of providing an explanation, she gave him another sly grin and then pulled him closer to her chest.
She coaxed Vandread to take a breast to his mouth and said, "You wanted the antidote, right? Here it is then.” She told him.
Vandread's mouth was forced to suck the woman's breast, and his eyes widened in shock. It felt awkward, but at the same time, comforting.
As he sucked milk from her breast, Vandread had the sudden impression that his mouth was moving of its own accord. As Vandread had anticipated, there was a discernible distinction in the flavor.
It was not normally rich and sugary like fresh milk. It has a honey and eucalyptus after-taste infused together, and it was slowly becoming an addiction for Vandread.
As Vandread persisted in sucking milk from the woman's breast, he abruptly became aware of a surge of spiritual energy coursing through his veins. As he went on sucking it in, it seemed as though his body was receiving nourishment at a rapid rate.
During this time, Vandread's hold on the woman was becoming increasingly tight, which made it difficult for her to keep her composure. She didn't feel comfortable having her breasts handled in such a manner, and it bothered her.
She had not anticipated that Vandread's mouth would be so aggressive, and as a result, she found herself unable to refrain from making a yelp. And her sudden moan just made things worse because Vandread thought that she was actually enjoying the idea of him having to suck one of her breasts.
This caused the situation to become even more awkward. The next thing he was aware of was the fact that he could already move his body. He thought that the woman's milk had canceled out the effects of the poison that could have killed him. And because of that, Vandread didn’t stop.
Even after his body had quickly and completely recovered from the effects of the poison, Vandread did not stop sucking for more.
“S-stop... stop now, you fool!” The woman was putting up a fight to get Vandread off of her, but after having her milk sucked out of her, she was noticeably weaker than she had been before. She had not prepared herself for the extent to which she would be exhausted..
Her initial strategy involved giving him just enough to get him to move his body, and then forcing him to submit to her control after that. On the other hand, it would appear as though the roles have been reversed. It was completely the opposite of what she had in mind.
If this kept up, she was terrified that she would become a victim of her own scheme. But Vandread persevered through it all, continuing to suckle her milk despite the odds. Instead, he wrapped his arms tightly around her waist and moved on to the other breast.
“No! No more! Stop! Get off me!” The woman yelled at him. She even made several attempts to push him, but Vandread had already sucked up sufficient energy to maintain his strength despite the woman's struggling.
At this point, the woman was already losing her sanity. Her body was already submitting to the frenzy of Vandread’s mouth, coiled around her breast. The only thing she could do was cover her mouth as she continued to fight off the sensation through her loud and vibrating moans.
But Vandread didn’t only continue to suck off her milk just because he wanted to get back at the woman for trying to play him for a fool, but for some reason, he really found her milk delicious and addicting. Each taste made him want to have more.
However, he knew that if he continued to drain the woman by sucking all of her milk, then she would certainly perish. It wasn't until she was too exhausted to move or utter a word to reprimand Vandread that he finally made the decision to separate himself from her.
When Vandread was once again back on his feet, he immediately checked on each of his limbs to see if he had already gained enough strength to control his body once more. And indeed, he found out that after he sucked out the milk from the woman, his spiritual energy had been stored completely.
“It was thanks to your milk that I once again gained my lost spiritual energy, master,” he then told the woman. It was so full of sarcasm that it soon made the woman weep silently.
“Please... just kill me,” the woman eventually told Vandread. She looked so weak but still fought to speak up about what was going on inside her thoughts.
At this moment, all the woman ever wanted was to perish and die rather than continue living in shame for getting fooled out of her own trick. She miscalculated everything and fell under Vandread’s hand instead.
Now that Vandread had completely absorbed all of her spiritual energy, she was no longer able to continue living in such a feeble state as before. Her existence only meant a laugh bag for the rest of her kind.
However, Vandread just took her clothing from the ground and wrapped it around her chest. It was an act that the woman found hard to believe, more so to comprehend, especially when Vandread took her in his arms.
“Where are you taking me? Put me down!” The woman struggled to order. In her weak state, Vandread found it hard to grasp how she was still able to muster the strength to go against him. Perhaps it was just her pride and honor that kept her going.
After all, it was the same thing that happened to him earlier. While he thought about it, he realized one thing. This woman still saved him despite being a total bitch.
“You need to tell me where you live. I am going to drop you there.” Vandread replied. He was serious about what he said, but the woman just sent him a disappointing reaction.
“I don’t need help from the likes of you!”
“Sorry to disappoint you, but the only one that can help you now is me. Unless you want me to leave you here and let those ogres feast on your body?” Vandread told the woman right away and quickly turned his head toward the ogres hiding behind the tall bushes around them.
The woman was left with no other choice but to stick with Vandread instead. She would rather want to die immediately than become a beneficiary of ogre seeds.
“What you’re planning to do is useless.”
“Huh?” Vandread was suddenly distracted by what the woman had told him just now. And then he continued to ask her, “What exactly do you mean it’s useless?”
“You can’t bring me back to where I live. Especially in this state.” She replied.
“And why not? You live there.”
“They won’t accept me if I am as powerless as I am now, thanks to you!” she firmly answered back.
“That’s absurd. They’re your family.”
“I have no family back there. I live alone with other elemental mages like me. I fled in the hopes of proving myself more powerful than the rest of them. But I only ended up like this.” The woman suddenly felt pathetic about her outcome.
Vandread was a bit guilty of it, but he couldn’t just show it off to her for he wasn’t sure whether she was just playing another scheme to trick him.
“Earlier, I told you that I had a familiar right? That familiar of mine was the one that made me stand above the rest. It’s a wild wyvern that I was able to tame, and it made me powerful. Unfortunately, my familiar was slaughtered by a mere human who posed as the legendary earl of this realm.”
After hearing that, Vandread recalled that it was he who killed that wild wyvern. He could hardly look into the woman’s face. He was guilty for such crime but he thought it was the right thing to do since the wild wyvern back then was a pest in the town nearby the castle
That wild wyvern was taking the lives of innocent people by burning them alive and their houses to ashes. It was the only solution he could think of as the proclaimed hero of the kingdom. It didn’t occur to him the possibility that a tamer could stop it rather than his own spirit sword.
But it was too late to sulk about it now. The wild wyvern was dead. And he chose not to confess it with the woman either, for he doesn’t want to stress about it any further.
“What do you plan to do now?” Vandread eventually ask.
Which the woman swiftly replied with, “I don’t know. Just leave me be if you feel burdened by carrying me.”
“Not going to happen, but I do have an offer for you instead.”
The woman looked straight into Vandread’s eyes and a lot of confusion emerged across her expression. She then asked, “What offer?”
This time, Vandread continued to walk while he carried the woman in his arms before he replied, “Would you want me to continue becoming your fighting slavc?”
What the woman had just listened to was so unbelievable that she could hardly grasp it. Her condition was already poor, but what she had just listened to could have made her feel even worse about herself. "Don't try to trick me into thinking I'm stupid! Just put me out of my misery right this instant and kill me!" Despite her obvious difficulty in communicating, the woman insisted. On the other hand, Vandread did not seem to be the kind of person who would eventually back down so quickly. Even more so when he realized how much he stood to gain from achieving his objective, he would press forward with unwavering determination. Vandread cocked his head to one side in order to get a better look at the woman's face. They were in such close proximity to one another that the tips of their noses actually touched. The woman was caught off guard by the unexpected move, and all of a sudden she felt ashamed of the predicament they were in. Unfortunately, she could not push him away from her
Vandread eventually uttered, “You…” When he caught sight of Shesmaire once more in her full strength. He was completely dumbfounded by what he was seeing at this very second. Vandread recalled that Shesmaire was in a very weak state when they first arrived, and he had to help her. Even as she entered the temple, he helped her to her feet and supported her as she walked. When Vandread saw how quickly she was able to regain her strength, he was taken aback and couldn't understand how it was possible. "I'm sure you're curious about how I was able to get all of my spirit energy back, isn't that right?" Shesmaire asked. She was standing there with her arms crossed over her chest. Shesmaire waited for Vandread's response, but it seemed as though he had made the decision to remain silent or more likely that his state of shock had overcome him. Therefore, Shesmaire just started walking forward outside the temple. In order to speak with Vandread, she approached him from a closer vantag
A secluded pavilion could be found in the mountains that stretched across the northern part of Dizencia. This pavilion gained notoriety for the hundreds of mistresses who kept the place lively. It had a hot bath, which served as a witness to the steamy activities that were going on around the place. The singing of birds that were hiding among the scattered trees blended in with the constant sound of water dripping from the bamboo fountain. These creatures could be heard singing their hymns, and they were joined in the chorus by the few cicadas that were scurrying around in the grass. Women of varying types chatted and laughed among themselves as they attended to the needs of their one and only master while he delighted in the pleasures of a steamy, hot bath with them. In fact, one of the women was supposed to pour and serve him drinks on a scheduled basis. And anyone who lived close by could hear them clearly. Most especially, Vandread, who was the master
After a short soak in the steaming water, Vandread stood up. And rather than feeling ashamed of themselves, the crowd from his harem celebrated the torch that was hidden between his thighs. Princess Camilla, on the other hand, gave the impression that she was completely unfazed by what she was seeing. When Vandread's manhood was brazenly displayed in front of her, it seemed as though he didn't even find it necessary to make fun of her in the slightest. “What the hell are you even doing here?” After being completely taken aback, Vandread turned to Camilla and asked. His finger was set firmly in her direction. The expression on Vandread's face communicated a horrified reaction that went beyond simple shock to a much deeper level. “Was that the right way to greet your wife after all this time?” Princess Camilla also responded to him in the form of a question. They both stopped as they stared at each other with a blazing glare for a brief period of time. There was nothing that Va
Once more, an impediment that posed a threat to Vandread's life had to be overcome by him.‘I am waiting for your answer, Vandread.’ And again, the voice repeated itself to him.And since Vandread was already without any other options, he had no choice but to agree, as evidenced by the fact that he responded with "Fine!"If there was anything that got Vandread's attention, it was the sudden realization that he was able to breathe underwater that only just occurred to him at this very moment. It's possible that he was too preoccupied with the presence of this strange yet somewhat familiar voice talking inside his h
‘That’s another incorrect answer.’Vandread must have misunderstood him, but the mysterious voice was not lying to him as he believed it to be; rather, it was the opposite of what he thought it would be. The outcome of Vandread's second guess was the same as the first: it was incorrect. When he had given it such careful consideration, Vandread was at a loss to comprehend why his second guess had turned out to be incorrect. This time, he was certain beyond a shadow of a doubt that the mysterious voice belonged to a sentinel. He could not possibly be a god. He was most certainly neither an angel nor a ghost, and there was no way that he could be a demonic entity. In
The manner in which Vandread expressed himself made it abundantly clear that he intended to be taken seriously. He was determined to have whoever was behind the mysterious voice become his servant. And considering that this would be his last opportunity to make a guess, he would need to identify the unknown voice correctly."I believe you appear to have gained an excessive amount of self-assurance. Have you given it much thought? How confident are you that you'll get it right? I wonder.’ Despite this, the mysterious voice tested him once more."Even if I had to wait for eternity, I would think carefully until I could discover who the hell in this world you are!" Terribly horrifying, grave, and in the end unwavering in its resolve. That was the way Vandread perceived things at the time. He was already experiencing a sense of agitation, but his disdain for the situation and for the mysterious voice who had been playing him for a fool ever since he regained consciousness and almost drow
The clock stopped at exactly 00:00:01. There was no way Vandread was dreaming. He pondered the issue, trying to figure out what could have possibly gone wrong with the clock. However, he was even more perplexed by the fact that he was unable to determine the reason why it occurred. Up until the moment his sudden realization froze him to the spot... ‘You got it right this time, Vandread. I am the system of this world. And at this very moment, you are currently located deep within the core of my system.' The instant that the system validated Vandread's answer, everything that was around Vandread was immediately affected. The barrier of the sphere that had been providing him with air to breathe within it began to dissipate at the same time that the water that had surrounded the areas that were outside the sphere began to recede. As Vandread descended the ground, techno lines began to appear beneath his feet. These techno lines then began to appear all over the surrounding area, as
