RADS 99. Fire Force

Sam faced the daunting challenge of the sixth trial repeatedly. Each attempt met with the relentless downfall of rain, extinguishing his fire. Frustration gnawed at him as he teleported back to the start point after each failed attempt.

On his next try, Sam conjured a larger fireball with both hands and sprinted toward the goal. Yet, despite his efforts, the rain continued to snuff out the flames before he could reach the river.

Then he tried to just walk with the fire. He managed to reach the river and stepped in. He was plunged by a sudden depth and the fire disappeared. He tried again, reaching the river again, and he stepped in slowly.

The water grew deeper, threatening to extinguish his fire completely. The river was deeper than he thought, reaching his neck. Sam must raise his arms high to keep the flames from hitting the river, but the fire was completely exposed to the downpour.
