CHAPTER 6: Sky emperor

"How is he" Jacob asked as he got into seeing David sleeping peacefully in a large bed been covered with an extra large blanket.

"he's not in danger, Lily said he just expended a lot of energy and it's will take about a week before he wakes up" Carla said as she walks up to Jacob with a worried yet warm smile.

he walked towards her as he hugged her kissing her forehead "I heard from Aisha about what happened, our son has a unique path and I'm sure he's gonna have to train hard to be able to stand tall" Jacob gazed at David with a serene gaze.

Carla hummed as she too turned to look at David "since we are both here I'm sure it's all gonna work out just fine,.... no I mean great" she smiled as she rested her head on Jacobs chest.

"honey there's something I need to tell yo..." before he could finish talking Margaret and Aisha both entered the room as Aisha carried a bowl of warm water and Margaret carried some of David's clothes.

"excuse me my lord and my lady, elder phoenix as asked that you both come over for dinner" Margaret said as she bowed her head.

"and we also need to clean up lord David and change his clothes" Aisha was the one speaking as her head was also bowed.

Jacob nodded as he and Carla walked out of the room closing the door behind them "what were you about to say dear" Carla reminded.

"how about we go to the dining hall" Jacob said with a forced smile as the worries started to show on his face.

Carla saw this as she too became deeply worried "tell me what's wrong" Jacob was about to say when an explosion was heard.

"we will discuss this later let's go" carla nodded in understanding as both rushed outside as Jacob carried her in a princess like manner and jumped down from the fourth floor.

"I'm home!" a 35 year old man with a dark blue hair yelled as he walked out a 3 meter crater that repair itself.

"great grand uncle James!" Jacob stared happily as he put Carla down.

a griffin carrying a carriage flew down as jack, mathar and the twins came out "heyo" jack said as he gave a huge smile suddenly another griffin flies down as Lin and a young man who seemed to be her butler comes out of the carriage "hey" Lin said as she too gave a warm smile.

"your all here" Jacob walks forward as James gives him a huge hug.

"ahahaha how is the legendary hell raider doing" James laughed out happily

"don't flatter me sky emperor"

"hey you forgot about me, king of knights" jack hurried in on the hug.

"pfft like the goddess of chaos isn't better" Lin also goes in for a hug as both she and jack stared daggers at each other.

"sorry for the intrusion my lords and my lady but elder phoenix as called you all in for dinner straight away" a maid brought them out of their family bonding as they all went into the mansion.

"she's here" jack, James and Jacob stood at the door while the Carla and the rest took their seats at the table.

"the boring one really came" James said as he stared at a woman who started talking with Lin and marthar.

"I heard she was here but I never thought she would look more boring" Jacob said as he chuckled.

"Im going to fucking kill you guys" a woman with a green and a white hair wearing glasses stood up as veins popped up on head as plants crawled into the house tying the three men up.

"BORING!" James yelled as both Jacob and jack chuckled unable to contain it as they both laughed out.

"Ahhhh" lilly yelled as she two giant man eaters sprouted from the ground as it slashed out it vines making a terrifying noise.

the three gulped loudly as Carla and Martha could only avert their eyes while the twins watched in amazement as yells and wipes were heard until phoenix finally showed up.

"..." phoenix looked at the once quiet and gentle lilly as she laughed maniacally as her hair almost turned fully green "uhm Lily you can stop now".

"..." suddenly the whole plants disappeared like they were never there dropping the 3 on the ground "they started it grand pa" lily quicky defended herself before been accused.

"I understand they started it" groaning could be heard from the three as phoenix looked at three on the ground 'im glad we don't have qualms with each other ' he thought as he smiled warmly.

James, Jacob and jack walked to the table as they sat down glaring at lily whose hair was back to its normal color.

"still as cute as ever little sister" James commented as lilly pouted averting her gaze from the three as everyone chuckled at her reaction.

phoenix smiled as he silently prayed his family would always be happy "from now on we are all gonna leave in this continent till the dark creatures no longer endangers this world so we are not leave to our own dimensions till it's all settled do we all agree"

"yes sir "

they said in unison as he continued "there are certain locations as to which portals to the dark continent are said to be forced open and can't be forcefully closed as that might cause casualties,

so we have no choice but to attack the dark continent before they begin marching into this world".

phoenix looked at everyone's faces as he nodded at their fearlessness "I'm sure some of you have gotten where you are supposed to be deployed" he looked towards Jacob first as signalling him to say his details

Jacob stood up and explained "we of the gold class griffin squad have been deployed to floqine and we will be leaving in three days" Jacob finished as he sat down.

phoenix stared at jack signalling him to explain next.

jack stood up as he explained "we of the knight squad have organised five battalions from each kingdom in legantia to march straight into the portal once it opens, we will be leaving in three days time"

Lin stood up next as jack sat down "we off the Athenians will also be leaving in three days time" phoenix nodded as he looked at James next.

"I currently don't have any missions " james casually said

"well I will be going to the upper tower in the elders dimension in three days time" phoenix said as he smiled "I'm happy to see you all are motivated for this, please bring glory to the Wayne's name"

"aye sir"

"bring the food leviah" phoenix said as maids walked in with trays plates and bowls as delicacies were organised on the table.

immediately after they all had dinner Carla and Jacob went to their room as Carla finally revealed her worried look "tell me it's not a trap"

Jacob looked at his loving wife as he gazed at her with eyes that glittered with care and love as he kissed her passionately before pulling away "we are not sure but I promise to get back to you no matter what, so trust me even if it is I will find a way to turn the tides".

Carla nodded as her trust for her beloved husband knew no bounds, as she kissed him again both taking off their clothes as they both made passionate love in the cold night
