Do you really want to sell this off ?

Chapter 6

Getting to the location, he was mesmerized by the grandeur of the building right in front of him. The sight was so overwhelming that it felt like a scene from a movie. It almost seemed unreal, as if he had stumbled upon a beautiful castle. But it wasn't just a castle; it was the most gigantic and breathtaking building he had ever seen. He glanced at his own appearance and couldn't help but feel out of place amidst such opulence. He didn't quite fit into this extravagant environment, but he knew he had a purpose to fulfill and had to stay focused. Trying to calm his nerves, he swallowed a dry gulp, attempting to reassure himself and maintain a positive mindset.

Moving closer to the gate, he approached the security man, ready to present himself and explain his purpose for being there. To his surprise, he discovered that they granted him free access to the building with minimal questioning.

"Wait, so I can just go inside, just like that?" he asked in disbelief, seeking confirmation. The security personnel nodded affirmatively, and a sense of astonishment washed over him. With a quickened pace, he eagerly entered the building, his mind brimming with anticipation.

As he walked, the thought nagged at him: how did he manage to gain such easy and unrestricted entry? Was he truly that important? The sheer fact that they had granted him access without a second thought triggered a rush of overwhelming excitement within him. He could barely contain his joy, a dancing sensation bubbling up from within.

The various buildings stood distinct from one another, yet they appeared oddly connected, as if patched together haphazardly. Uncertain of how to navigate through this amalgamation, he approached one of the maids for directions. Following her guidance to proceed straight, he soon found himself standing before the main door of the building.

Summoning his courage, he pressed the doorbell, its chime resonating through the air. Within moments, a pompous lady arrived at the door, her scrutinizing gaze sweeping him from head to toe.

"Why are you so miserable, and who the hell allowed you in without instructions? Get the fuck out of here!" she yelled, her voice echoing with disdain. Bryan couldn't help but be taken aback by her fierce display of character. It occurred to him that she must be the daughter of the man in charge, but he found himself appalled by her complete lack of manners and disregard for approaching someone in the proper way. Furthermore, he couldn't understand why his attire should matter at this moment. After all, he had not come there for a fashion audition.

"Are you daft and have no clue? Get the fuck out of here! Who in the first place invited a miserable guy like you here?" she demanded, her anger escalating with each word.

"Madam, I believe you need to calm down. That was quite offensive. You don't know me, yet you're labeling me with different names. Regardless, I've come to see someone. I'm not sure if he's your father, but I'm searching for a specific individual, and I won't leave without seeing him. This matter is of utmost importance to me," he said dismissively, his tone leaving no room for further negotiation.

"Wow! I must admit, I am impressed by your confidence and courage. It's quite astonishing that you don't even know the name of the person who invited you. Nevertheless, it doesn't really matter. I believe now all you have to do is leave," she retorted with a grave seriousness.

"But I am sorry, madam, I am not leaving, I swear to God. You won't be the one to make me leave," he stated firmly, unwavering in his decision.

"Hmm, let's see who the boss is between you and me. Security! Security!" she yelled, summoning the assistance of the security personnel. Soon, Asher arrived on the scene.

"Alora, I believe it's time for you to learn your manners and not approach my visitors in such a manner," he asserted, walking with an air of majesty towards them. Bryan couldn't help but be taken aback. It was the same man who had given him the necklace. How foolish he felt for not asking for the man's identity beforehand. Perhaps the man was a stalker, but instead of confronting him, Bryan decided to maintain a facade of composure.

"You again, when did you become such a low esteemed man that you allow brats and animals in this compound?" she demanded, her tone dripping with disdain. He chuckled dryly, unruffled by her words.

"You are no one to question me here. I will make decisions based on my own judgment, and the people I invite to this place are my business. I suggest you give us some space," he replied, his voice carrying an air of authority.

"I don't blame you. It's my father's fault for trusting you with everything and neglecting his own children before passing away. I am the daughter of the Creston family, while you are just an ordinary worker who fails to show me respect. Damn it," she muttered in panic before storming away with unyielding annoyance. President Asher turned to Bryan, a slight hint of a scoff on his face.

"It's a good thing to have you in your home, young master of the Creston family. It is my pleasure to say you are welcome," he said with a slight bow. Bryan couldn't hide his confusion.

"Sir, what's going on? I've told you I am not the young master. My mother has no connection to this place at all," he stated, his confusion evident. President Asher smirked.

"Come inside, let's talk properly. I don't want your foster mother to cause trouble, just like your sister did just now," he instructed, leading the way. Bryan followed, his amazement growing with each step. The hallway of the building mesmerized him. The perfected decorations, the meticulously designed tinted white hue, and the opulent furniture showcased the epitome of luxury. It felt as if he was stepping into heaven itself. Arriving at President Asher's apartment, he was invited to settle down.

"Wait, is this your apartment? This place is truly amazing," he admired, his eyes scanning the grandeur setting of the house.

"It's a good thing you appreciate it. All of this could be yours if you're ready to embrace your heritage," President Asher stated, hinting at a hidden story. However, Bryan shook his head in disbelief.

"I still can't believe that I'm a son of this family. It doesn't feel like me. My mother never told me about my father, all she ever mentioned was being betrayed. I'm sorry, but I don't want to listen to any packaged story. I just want to sell this property and move on," he said dismissively.

President Asher looked at Bryan with a mix of surprise and concern. "Are you truly trying to sell this to me, young master? I gave it to you, and it rightfully belongs to your father. He kept it safe, hoping that one day he would reunite with your mother. Unfortunately, life didn't offer them that chance. Don't you think it's time for you to come back home?"
