Arrival

I returned back to the vehicle promptly to head home.

Benjamin was seated on the bonnet of the car patiently awaiting my return, when he saw me, he got into the vehicle promptly.

I took my position in the driver's seat and started the engine.

“How did it go?” Benjamin asked me.

“I guess we'll find out,” I responded and took a sharp turn to head out of the building.

I was however blocked by another vehicle, and was stopped in my tracks.

The driver of the vehicle stepped out, in attempts to persuade me to reverse so they could come through.

Once I saw the vehicle, I recognized it instantly.

It was my father's signature black limousine, and I confirmed this when he stepped out of the driver's seat.

At this point I'd already reversed and turned down another route, and just as I was about to leave, I locked eyes with him.

I wasn't sure if it was my imagination, but I thought I saw him smile.

Either way it didn't matter, and I zoomed out of the compound.
