Howl

I navigated the labyrinth towards the direction Genesis had displayed, and the weight of Marcus’s betrayal and Olivia’s death were still heavy in my mind.

It felt like the stone walls were closing in on me, and it felt like I’d succumbed to my dark side, embracing the shadows.

I pressed on. My senses were heightened to the very limit, and I was on high alert for anything that could be lurking in the shadows.

I rounded a corner, and came face to face with a group of players. I could see in their eyes that they had malicious intent.

When they saw me they snarled and eyed me like a group of lions, stalking their prey.

I readied myself, there was no point in trying to negotiate and I took a stance.

I scanned the group and my gaze fell on the leader, in his hand, was the final flag.

‘He has the flag and chose not to turn it in? Why?,’ I thought to myself.
