The Date With Melissa

When Melissa heard this, she smiled widely. “Bye mom,” she said.

“You better be a good girl, okay?” Her mom responded, and she nodded in agreement.

And then her mom walked back into their compound, and the gateman locked the door behind her.

With her mom finally out of the picture, Melissa turned and faced me.

“You know that was a dirty move right, I told you I didn’t want to meet your parents,” I said and gave her a straight look.

“Well, she insisted. And it’s not like she doesn’t like you anyway, hehe,” she responded and skipped toward my car.

‘She wins this round,’ I thought.

She finally got to the front of the car, and squealed in excitement.

“Oh my god, Malcolm, is this your car?” She asked.

“Yes it is,” I responded. I walked toward the driver’s seat and opened the door with my keys, and she hopped into the car.

“How can you even afford something this expensive?” She asked.

“I’m rich,” I responded and started the engine.
