Without any command from anyone, an invited guest interrupted the host's question before Ben could answer it.

"Kick him out!"

That one sentence made David felt very threatened. What's more, the next shout was followed by the other guests.

'Have they gone mad?' David thought as he gritted his teeth.

Now, the order to kick David out of the auditorium echoed. David became even more intimidated. In his mind were all the bad things that might happen to him, if the incident of his expulsion from the charity event actually happened.

As far as he knew, no one had ever been kicked out of a charity event organized by the Roodenburg family. So, he had a good chance of being the first.

That meant, the news of his expulsion would very likely become the hottest topic in the community. That would mean that everyone in town would give her a bad name.

On top of that, the difficulty in applying for a new job would be absolute for him. Then, how would he tell his parents about that?
