Everyone was shocked to hear Arryn's statement. Arryn felt that his words this time would help Alicia to be free from the Obelisk. She would avoid the wishes of many people who were disappointed in her.

Alicia clearly heard what Arryn was saying. She smiled at the ease at which Arryn could speculate like that.

"Are you sure, Arryn?" asked the Supreme Judge. Arryn nodded without saying a word.

"Why are you saying that, Arryn?!" moaned Riviela, shouting loudly from the audience stand at Arryn.

Riviela was pretty disappointed with Arryn's statement. Riviela had been close to Alicia, the two of them being in the same class when studying at the Obelisk. Riviela had to admit that Alicia was different, especially in her analytical skills.

Arryn turned his head to the right and smiled broadly while waving to Riviela. It was a completely unexpected expression from Arryn.

"I must speak the truth in court," Arryn replied.
