Arryn decided to return to the Obelisk to meet with Quentin. Did he succeed in sneaking in? Keep up with my story and don't forget to vote, review, and share with your friends. Thank you and happy reading :)
Arryn walked into the cloud-textured portal. He leaves Alicia, hoping anxiously for Arryn's safety, but she is confident that the Obelisk's men won't easily catch him. The man finally arrived at the white area Arryn called the blurred area, the dimension between the world of reality and the world of illusion. This place is the only area not affected by the rules of time and space. Just as the portal he entered began to shrink and close, another portal of the same shape and texture opened, leading directly to Quentin's office. Arryn immediately walked into the portal with confidence. He just hoped that he wouldn't run into any Obelisk people in Quentin's office so that it wouldn't lead to any other problems. With one foot on the wooden floor of Quentin's office, it wasn't long before he was inside Quentin's office. One thing that was certain in the room was that it was deserted; there wasn't a single person in it. A place that has not changed at all in Arryn's memory, there are fil
"You can't come with us," said Arryn. The reason Arryn said this was so that Riviela couldn't meet Alicia. The portal he created was meant to get to Alicia's house. Another reason why Arryn took Quentin to Alicia's residence first was to discuss Arryn's purpose with Vielheim. Let Alicia explain everything later when they meet at the woman's house. "So what if I come along? Is there some big secret you're hiding?" asked Riviela, increasingly curious about Arryn's agitated movements. Arryn turned to look at Quentin. The man cleared his throat softly and said he allowed Riviela to come over. The young man couldn't argue with Quentin's words, not only because he was a legendary sage but also because he was his father. Another portal opened right in front of Quentin. Arryn deactivated his fire magic and allowed the two people who went with him to enter, Arryn being the last person to enter the portal. Arryn surprisingly saw Riviela hugging Alicia, sitting on a wooden chair near the li
The two prepared to fight, determining who would win and lose. Quentin took a step back, keeping a distance from their battle area, as did the other magic spirits. Arryn looked around him. He was pretty surprised to see the magic spirits starting to line up in a circle similar to a battle arena. Quentin was standing outside the circle with a worried expression hoping Arryn was safe. "They aren't going to let me go easily, are they?" asked Arryn. Seraphine nodded. "We, fire magic spirits, really hate such cowardly acts as running away or betrayal. If you're not going to run away, you shouldn't have to worry about it," Seraphine explained. The woman explained clearly the characteristics of fire magic spirits. The words that came out of Seraphine suddenly aroused Arryn's courage. He wanted to prove that he wasn't one of those cowards. Seraphine suddenly stretched out both hands; surprisingly, the fire magic appeared without incantation. The fire magic took the form of a burst of hot
"What happened?" asked Quentin, looking behind Arryn's back. "My Sarana item has activated," replied Arryn, turning his head slowly with a gasp. "This is bad! I'll take you away," said Quentin. Seeing Arryn's bad condition, Quentin ventured to pick up his son. He tried to use his spatial abilities to get close to Arryn. Just when Quentin was about to try it, the fire magic spirits guarding Arryn and Seraphine's battle prevented Quentin. The middle-aged man could not break through the wall of fire magic created by the spirits. "You cannot interfere with the battle between Princess Seraphine and Arryn," said one of the fire magic spirits. "His condition is terrible. I must save my son," Quentin said, but none of the fire spirits cared. They were more afraid of Princess Seraphine's anger than the rage that flared up in Quentin's heart, shrouded in anxiety over Arryn's safety. Ultimately, Quentin couldn't help but rely on Seraphine's wisdom. "Don't fight her. Focus on gathering ene
The stab wound he received from Seraphine left Arryn unable to stand using both legs. The young man felt his legs were paralyzed and very heavy to move. "What did you do to him?!" groaned Quentin, trying to get closer, but he was again blocked by the barrier magic created by Seraphine's spirit subordinates. Arryn lay on his back with his face pale and white. The open puncture wound was wide enough to cause blood to flow continuously, causing Quentin to panic. "He has a mysterious power. You don't need to worry; I won't kill him. Not for now," Seraphine explained. The woman stretched her right hand towards Arryn, precisely above Arryn's helpless body. Instantly Quentin saw a bright light emerge from Seraphine's palm and wrap Arryn's body in a red bubble that looked transparent. "We'll take him from here," Seraphine replied. Quentin could do nothing else but stare at the magic spirits, who turned out to be more aggressive than he had imagined. His eyes were divided between Arryn an
"What do you mean bound up?" asked Arryn, confused by the explanation from the Fire Magic Spirit King and Queen. "You came here to make a contract with one of our magic spirits, right?" asked the Fire Magic Spirit Queen. Arryn nodded. He had intended to do that since he often used fire magic. By contracting with one of the fire magic spirits, the possibility of fire magic attack attributes could be improved greatly. However, as far as Arryn knew, to make a contract with a magic spirit, you had to get approval from both sides. Arryn was quite doubtful that he had the approval of Seraphine because he had previously intended to kill the spirit. "Right, but didn't Princess Seraphine refuse to carry out the contract with me?" Arryn asked. "She wanted to. Otherwise, she wouldn't have bothered to care for you when you were dying," replied Seraphine's mother, the Fire Magic Spirit Queen. "You can confirm it to her by summoning magic spirits," said the Fire Magic Spirit King, Arryn didn't
Arryn had initially thought that the top of the mountain was quite far from where the magic spirits gathered. The young man realized he had been in a cave at the foot of the mountain. "How long will it take us to get to the top?" asked Arryn, curious. "About thirty minutes," replied Seraphine, still floating beside him with a friendly expression. Seraphine stepped out ahead of Arryn, still paying attention to his surroundings. He could see the whereabouts of the empty village destroyed by the boulder that hit the place a few days ago. The distance was quite astonishing, seemingly so far from the cave entrance that Arryn was impressed by the magic spirits. They could go up and down the mountain without getting tired. Arryn and Seraphine's current position is not far from the top of the mountain; around Arryn, it looks barren and empty. Trees and grasses didn't grow because the composition of the soil was mixed with volcanic ash. "Can you ensure this mountain doesn't erupt again?"
"Black magic spirit? Why do you want to do that?" asked Seraphine. "Just like you, I want to raise my black magic status with it," Arryn explained. "So, you'll keep using black magic as before?" Arryn nodded. There was no reason for Arryn to not use that power; besides saving on mana usage, black magic was much more powerful than other elemental magic. However, Arryn would still need Seraphine's presence. He cannot fully use the power of black magic. For Arryn, it would be dangerous if he continued to display his power in public. "I will use it, but it won't be my main magic for a while," Arryn said, smiling at Seraphine. "For now, my status still remains as Athanor's fugitive. They only know my identity through my magical abilities. So, the only safe thing for me to do is to hide my true power as much as possible," Arryn replied. "You don't need to worry. I won't be looking for another elemental magic spirit," Arryn continued. Seraphine was excited to hear Arryn's words. It wa
