Wounded Conditions

Three days later.

"She still won't talk," explained one of the prison guards, standing in front of the cage door where Kira was being held.

Brandon arrived at the prison in different clothes; he had removed his Justice Watcher suit as the threat from Kira had decreased. He stood with the prison guard as he watched Kira through the cell door window.

"Let me talk to her," Brandon pleaded.

The prison guard nodded. He opened the cage door by turning the wheel-shaped door handle clockwise. The door made of iron and steel shifted and showed a quiet Kira dressed in a white tie-dyed shirt.

"What brings you here?" asked Kira flatly.

The iron door closed again, leaving Brandon alone with Kira. He pulled out a wooden chair from the room and sat on it.

"You know, this war has taken many innocent lives," Brandon said.

Kira silently listened to the words that came out of Brandon's mouth. She tried to understand every word and sentence to know what he meant by coming to her place.
