Replacement Core

"What?"

Gin looked puzzled and tilted his head back hesitantly. He heard something very strange.

"You must destroy this world," the boy said once again.

It should have been a common thing for a disaster like Gin. But Gin had been without a core for too long, he had almost forgotten that he could destroy the world with the replacement core he would create.

However, could he really do it?

"Just this world? What about the others?" Gin never thought he would have to destroy every world one by one. It was exhausting, and he would have to find gates to do it.

The boy smiled without answering. He took Gin's hand and placed the white crystal in his palm, side by side with the black crystal.

Both stones glowed and moved, merging together like magnets and melting into a black and white powder. Gin did nothing; the stones did it themselves. After that, the powder flew, twirling in front of Gin's face, and formed a new stone of gray color. The stone fell back into Gin's hand, a gray stone larger
