Story of The Eyes

Gin paid close attention to the remains of rock fragments under his feet. There were shapes of hands, feet, and some destroyed body parts. At first glance, it was not terrible because it was just a statue, but if he remembered it was a living creature, that would be a different story.

Gin was curious why this man didn't attack Gin directly and let James distract them. Didn't Amenus order that man to kill him? Gin was amazed because that man had so many opportunities to kill him.

Or was it just simply because he knew that disaster couldn't die?
