The Lost Child

"That thing is dead, Your Majesty." A figure with a black robe that covered all over his body knelt in front of Amenus. He lowered his head, not daring to look at his King with his two eyes.

"I know." Amenus stood up from his throne.

The wound on Amenus' stomach almost healed but the pain lingered. It was a wound he had never experienced before. Even though his wound had closed, the pain was still the same as when he first got it and was getting worse day by day.

He had confirmed that there was no curse from the wound. There was also no poison that attacked his body. The wound from the holy sword was far worse than he had imagined.

"What would you do, Your Majesty?" the black-robed man asked.

Amenus stepped towards the bowl of water beside his throne. The surface of the water was like a screen, showing the image of a dark place. The screen didn't move, not after Gin crushed his doll.
