The Penalty

Intense pain assaulted Gin. It felt like thousands of knives were stabbing him from the inside, tearing his skin and trying to get out. It hurt so much that he couldn't open his eyes.

Then a feeling of nausea and burning heat was felt in his chest, rising to the throat. Gin spat it out but nothing came out. He coughed, the burning feeling had disappeared a bit but he was still short of breath.

The relief only lasted a few moments. After that, his heart throbbed very violently. The pain that made him want to die.

Gargan could understand the pain, but she didn't feel it directly. She panicked and was confused when she saw her master fall to the ground. Meanwhile, Leogus was still calm even though his forehead was furrowed.

Gin's heart felt like it was bounded by a rope and pulled together, squeezing it until it was almost crushed. Then there was a cracking sound from all over his bones. Gin was sprawled in the middle. He couldn't move as his bones started to break one by one.

“Aarrggh!”
