Anger and Hate

Lou-ra's vision blurred as she fought terribly to maintain consciousness and not walk towards the light that only she could see.

Every intake of breath felt like a long sheet of barbed wire scraping her throat. Blood, hot and metallic, pooled around her, staining the pale sand and causing her entire body to become drenched.

Nicolas, frozen in horror for a single, agonizing heartbeat, roared back to life. It had taken him a great deal of time for him to come to terms with the fact that Lou-ra's throat had been slit in front of him.

"How dare you!!!" Nicolas roared, his sword burning with intense energy.

He lunged at Xeno, a blur of fury, but one of the clones disappeared from Xeno's side and appeared between them, his movements as fluid and swift as the wind.

He intercepted Nicolas with practiced ease, blades flashing in the dying light. His aim in mind to cut his enemy down before he reaches the main body.

Nicolas' anger made his sword shine brighter than how it has originally been.
