They arrived at the study.

Sitting down on a small chair and table which had been specifically built for him because of his height.

On the table was Calligraphy paper, brushes and ink.

"Today I saw your etiquette was up to standard both eating, greeting, walking and facial expressions.

So I would start with your temperament."

"Your temperament is also okay but I can't be too sure. Now you would start by grinding ink....

The teaching by the King varied from grinding ink to writing which his Majesty was satisfied about .

Williams was stunned but also happy that his son was a genius.

He decided to ask intellectual question from books since his wife told him that Flynn had started reading when he was a year old.

After the question he saw Flynn in a new light.

Flynn answers were different from the normal answers but it shed light upon some flaws and also showed the cons and pros in most things.

The Q and A was turned into a discussion between both men.

He son also shed some light on the Kingdom rule and economy.

He also had new thoughts on how to reform the kingdom.

Williams felt invigorated that the annoyance he had from court this morning was appeased.

For the first time in a while, he showed an emotion on his cold face.

Flynn was stunned upon seeing his father smile.

He subconsciously smiled too showing his milk teeth.

He looked so cute and Williams could not help pinching his cheeks which made Flynn pout.

Williams seeing this laughed. His eyes held a smile in them.

"Alright. Let's continue"

"What do you think of this Era. In fact what is this era called?"

Flynn stood up, putting his hands behind him, he looked like a wise scholar.

"It is called the Mortal Era. Being that during the war during the disappearance of the ruins. Most of the Wizards in the world disappeared.

The strength or level of people now can not surpass the foundation stage especially the early level of the foundation stage."

Williams smiled at his behaviour but said nothing nonetheless but continued with his question.

To him Flynn was now like a confidant not minding his age.

"What do you think about it? Is this the limit of the world on us or the work of the heavenly Dao "

Flynn smiled. He had been thinking about how to upgrade this world, now was the chance.

"None" he said while shaking his head.

"What do you mean?" Williams wanted to hear his answer.

"It's none of them because humans have different talents. Different path leads to the same Dao but the known path has some obstacles because of loss of manuals."

"What should be done then...?"

" The kingdom should build it's own academy. there are different paths to the Dao "

Flynn sat down and spread the paper in front of him while picking up a brush and dipping it in ink.

"I have a few cultivating paths here"

"One is the known Path which his magic.

The second known path is cultivation.

The third is knights also known as aura users .

The fourth is martial artist who cultivate internal energy.

The fifth which is for scholars is the Righteous Energy path. They cultivate righteous energy in the body through knowledge. They have low defence and physical constitution but high intelligence just like the mage/wizards.

We also have many other paths that are not known now and have been lost through the passage of time"

Most of these paths he mentioned are from his memories.

Williams was stunned, he did not know that there were other paths.

He remembered the deal with Helen and her brother and his face turned cold.

Flynn caught the cold look on his face, not wanting to judge, he asked.

"Dad, you don't seem to be happy?"

Williams subconsciously spoke his mind since he had long treated Flynn as his confidante.

"I made a deal with Helen and Her brother who is the current head of the Youling Academy.

I was also injured and needed their help to heal and because I was threatened with your mom and the kingdom, I agreed.

I am to marry her and they would give me all their resources for me to reach the foundation stage early and with my talent I may reach the late stage."

Flynn nodded in understanding, now he knew why his father brought in a woman he did not like.

His memories of different world had people who had more than one or two wives so he was not too averse though he could not do such except both women had a good chemistry together.

"With what you mentioned now, we can totally forgo their agreement and build ours."

"No dad, why don't you add that they would let me peruse all their manuals as I would be able to modify them better. I can also produce pills for the five paths of cultivation.

You also don't need them to be the kingdom backer as it would become troublesome in the later stages.

He made mention of many things which Williams nodded to.

"Father, can you leave them to me. I would come to you if I need anything. You don't need to worry as you would be the one people would be seeing and I behind the scene."

"Father tell a servant to get water for me"

Williams was puzzled by what he wants to do but he still got a maid to get water inside a basin.

The maid brought in the water and was sent out.

William gestured for Flynn to do what he wanted to do.

Flynn's hair turned black and so did his eyes, apart from his face which was recognizable if not Williams would have thought it was an imposter.

"This is an innate ability. I can only change my hair and eyes to black but not my face" Flynn dropped some water on the hair and the color of the water was still the same.

"It's not dye, so you don't have to worry and for the face. I would need a face mask.
