Chapter 88

Alagar took heavy steps towards his room, leaving his father still standing in the living room.

As soon as the bedroom door closed, the suppressed anger seemed to overflow uncontrollably. He immediately approached the mini bar in the corner of his room, took a bottle of wine which was neatly stored on the shelf.

With trembling hands, Alagar poured the wine into a crystal glass on the table.

Without hesitation, he downed the contents, feeling the hot sensation spreading from his throat to his stomach. Mixed emotions are increasingly mounting.

"Why is Dad like this?" Alagar muttered in a regretful tone. "Usually he doesn't take matters into his own hands and always tells me before making a decision."

Alagar's eyes stared blankly at the empty wine glass in his hand, as if looking for an answer to the question that continued to haunt his mind.
