Pran swiftly neared the shield lying on the ground while sheathing the dagger in his left hand. And as he reached it another arrow was already nearing him. Without showing any panic or hesitation he moved the sword into the line of the approaching arrow and used the flat to slide the arrow tip to deviate its trajectory to the side while kicking on the edge of the shield to flip it towards his left hand.
