First world, the illusion

The sky was pouring non stop and standing in the graveyard while soaking wet in water, Gem looked up.

Everyone left and now he was standing alone. His face was emotionless and under the thunder and lighting, he washed all his emotions.

"Host, what are you going to do now?"

"They made a mistake and now they are going to pay for it. I will do what they stopped me to do. I am going to escape from this world and every other world that they created for me.

And once I got out, they are going to pay.

I will make them pay."

He squinted his eyes as he looked in the distance. He might like to live in this world but now he was woken up to the reality.

"Host, I am very happy.

Let's get out of this world."

The mechanical voice sounded happy while Gem lifted his hand and grabbed the necklace.

"We are going to find the ring."

"Yeah, about that....."

The mechanical voice sounded confused. How are they going to find the ring?

"Let's get back to Lizzy. I am sure she can help us.

But before that.... will that ring be present here.'

Gem wanted to confirm and the mechanical voice went quite for a second.

"Host, this world has rules and no one can break those rules not even those gods.

So, that ring is here and the answer is hidden in the riddle

The dragon ring is hidden where sun can't reach and Moon can't shine yet it is always under sun and the moonlight is always bright."

Gem rubbed his chin thoughtfully.

"Then, let's find that place."

He turned and left the graveyard. After half an hour, he was standing outside the house where Lizzy lived. She was startled to see him soaking wet outside her door.

She brought him inside and gave him a towel. Gem dried his hair as he sat on the couch. Slowly he started telling everything to Lizzy who looked stunned. As he finished speaking, Lizzy was in deep thoughts.

"So, I was not going mad. I was actually waking up again again the same world."

She inhaled deeply as she glanced at Gem.

"I knew this world was fake. One day, I woke up and everything changed around me. It was same yet not the same.

I knew something was wrong but now I can understand everything."

Gem did not expected this from her but now he was not alone. There was someone who was ready to help him.

Lizzy took out a map of the city and the map that she made.

Both of these looked same but in opposite way. As like in mirror.

"I drew this map on my memories. We can use this map to find the location of the ring."

Gem took the map and stared at it trying to figure out the riddle.

"The dragon ring is hidden where sun can't reach and Moon can't shine yet it is always under sun and the moonlight is always bright."

He whispered to himself as he picked a pen and drew a line. He drew another line in opposite direction and then kept drawing it.

"The sun rises and set like this and this is the direction of the moon. What if it's under these spaces where they meet?"

Gem spoke and stared at all the places.

"It could be." Lizzy admitted.

"We have three locations. Let's check these two first and then meet here."

He told Lizzy and both if them got up. First place was the roof of a plant house and Gem went there while Lizzy went to the city school.

Gem entered the roof and looked around. There was nothing he could see as a potential place for hiding the ring. He kept looking around but all was in vain.

After an hour, he went to the third location that was a old church.

As he reached there, Lizzy also arrived.

"I could not find anything there."

"Hm same here.

But why I am feeling we are missing something."

He sat down and rubbed his finger on the floor. There was something in the back of his head that kept telling him he was going in the wrong direction.

He lifted his hand and grabbed the necklace between his thumb and his finger.

"Where is it?

Where is that ring?"

He questioned himself and at the same time he felt a splitting headache. The necklace glowed Blue making him close his eyes as a painful expression appeared on his face.

Behind his close eyes, he saw something.

Was it a hint from the necklace?

It seemed like the necklace had the power to show him the future visions. He did not know how but he unlocked it's power somehow. It could be because of his blood as he was the true son of the dragon king.

"They are very clever."

He straightened up while a strange grin on his lips.

"What happened?"

Lizzy asked him making him chuckle.

"We were in the wrong place all this time. The answer was always in front of my eyes and yet I could not see it."

He nearly ran out of the church while Lizzy followed him.

"Where are you going?"

"The same place where we first met." Gem chuckled as he kept his pace. He find the answer and he was going to leave this world.

For him, this world was pretty easy. But he forgot this was just the beginning and this world was just an illusion. A illusion of his deepest desires.

As he stood in front of the statue in the park, he was completely out of breath.

Now he knew why he felt strange when he first saw this statue. Before in the original world, the statue held the book in both hands but in this world it's one hand was under the book. The statue was always under sunlight or moonlight but it could never reach the ring as it was under the book.

The answer was obvious yet so hidden.

He chuckled as he climbed on the statue and held the forward his hand to take out the ring from the third finger of the statue.
