Reincarnation of the useless bastard. Show me, don't tell me
"Elder Jang" Cho cheong called softly as she watched elder Jang on the stone. Elder Jang's eyes were closed, he seemed unbothered as he sat cross-legged."Elder Jang" Cho cheong called again and yet there was still no response from elder Jang. She looked at Harith, clueless as to what to do. Sao gang was next to Harith with bacia a little bit behind and the rest at the back. All of them had gathered to present the strategy to elder Jang, they had been briefed by Sao gang on the strategy earlier so it was time for elder Jang to give them the go ahead."Hmmm" Elder Jang hummed lightly and his eyes opened, he looked straight at Cho cheong seeming to read into her very soul for a brief moment before he looked away and at the rest. "You have come to present your strategy?" He asked."Yes elder Jang" Sao gang answered since he was the leader."Hmmm....save it for tomorrow" Elder Jang said and smiled "Surprise me" He said. Although the poking rounds was focused on getting advantage points fo

The next day At the Youth Practitioners House. Elder Jang stood in front of the crowd of students with his head held high and a cane supporting his weight. He looked at every one of his students and nodded, they all had faces full of conviction. They were clearly ready for the upcoming battles. "Today, I will take the attacking squad over to the whirlwind sect. The outcome of the battle rests on ur shoulders" Elder Jang said as he looked at Sao gang and the others in the attacking squad. Sao gang nodded in agreement, up until now elder Jang had given them free reins over the proceedings of the squad. He had let them choose the members they wanted and given them rights to choose the strategy the squad would employ in the battle royale. He had let them handle everything and so his words were true when he said the results rested on their shoulders. "Present yourselves" Elder Jang said. Sao gang nodded and step forward and out of the crow

Baxia looked around seeing as no one was alerted by elder Jang's sudden disappearance he smirked and sped off. "Let's go!" Cho cheong tapped Harith on the shoulder and ran forward. Hadith saw the other running too and joined, it looked like they were really serious about running to the whirlwind sect. "Wait up!" Harith called out to Cho cheong as he ran after her. Cho cheong slowed down a little for him to catch-up and they spoke as they ran through the streets. "Do you have a map or something?" He asked. "Why?" Cho cheong responded as she flew over a basket. "How else would you know the way to the sect then?!" Harith said. Did he have to assume that everyone just knew the road to a sect that would take a minimum of two days to travel by carriage?? "Oh...." Cho cheong muttered. What Harith said was true. Not all of them had gone to other sects and some hadn't even stepped foot out of the raging flames sect before. They needed a map to be able to locate the whirlwind sect accurate

"Y...young master Baxia" Dang ju muttered as he looked at the boy standing above them looking like an angel in the glistening sunlight. Baxia unsheathed his sword and jumped down from the rock in one swift motion. Cho cheong stepped forward going in front of Harith and she looked Baxia dead in the eyes. Baxia looked at Cho cheong and smiled "Stay out of this" He said with a gentle voice that had an underlying threat hidden in it. Cho cheong had no response but maintained her stand. Sure Harith could defend himself just fine but impluse had brought her to this point. "Move" Harith spoke in a deep voice as he used a hand to push Cho cheong to the side. Baxia frowned a little but immediately put up his smile back. "Still as brave as ever" He said. Although he really didn't enjoy bullying much, there was one thing about Harith which just made him wat to bully him. Harith never once backed down when confronted, even when he got seriously hurt by Baxia he would maintain his footing. Thi

Baxia flung Cho cheong away and covered his face. The side of his head had started bleeding from the hit. Cho cheong rushed towards Harith and picked him up, his body was wet with blood. His face his chest his back everywhere. "Are you alright?" She asked as she picked him up by the arm. Harith shook his head and tried to free himself from her grasp but she was just too firm. "Let me finish this" Harith muttered "No, we're living now" Cho cheong shook her head. Any more of this nonsense and Harith won't be able to fight in the battle royale again, all because of some pointless battle with Baxia. Cho cheong took a look at Baxia, he was staggering a bit but he looked very much better that Harith's current state. She then properly rested Harith on her shoulder and speed off. Soon peace and quiet had returned to the region with only Baxia standing tall. He had a savage expression on his face as he looked into the distance "Useless bastard...." He mu

"Thank you!"Cho cheong waved to the old woman as she left with Harith. She cleaned the sides of her mouth wiping off the last bit of delicious soup on it. It was about four in the afternoon, Cho cheong had already given up complete hope on winning the race and what she just wanted was to get to the whirlwind sect on time. "How close are we?" Harith asked as they began running. Cho cheong took a look at the map. The small village they had stopped at was marked on the map with no particular name. "About halfway there" Cho cheong said. The village wasn't too far from the middle of the path from the raging flames sect to the whirlwind sect. If they continued travelling at this rate then they would probably get to the whirlwind sect when night falls...... And as thought as soon as it was 9pm the gates of the whirlwind sect became visible to Harith and Cho cheong. Painted silver and adorned with several jewels that captured one's eyes, three two g

"B...but elder Jang, even if... I'm sure they'll still like some rest. We can always do this tomorrow- "Elder Carlos we didn't come here to waste time. Please respect my opinion and let's start the battle royale" Elder Jang cut of elder Carlos with a serious face. "Y..ye" Elder Carlos nodded. He knew there was no convincing elder Jang at this point, he had no choice but to accept the challenge. "It's unavoidable" Elder Carlos said to his students. They all looked tired and some were even sitting down to retain energy. Harith noticed this and asked Cho cheong but she too had no idea, only Baxia seemed to have a faint idea of what was going on. "You know what we planned, try as best as possible to avoid elimination" Elder Carlos said to his students and walked back to elder Jang. "We're ready" He said in a not so confident voice. Elder Jang smiled, he then looked at Sao gang and nodded. With a firm stance he brought his arm out from his rob
Reincarnation of the useless bastard. Just as planned
Three Whirlwind sect students had formed a wall around a student while the remaining five fought alongside Santiago. "What is the meaning of this?" Elder Carlos asked as he looked at Elder Jang with a questioning face. "The meaning of what?" Elder Jang responded. "T...this! All of this! This isn't how the battle royale should be fought!" Elder Carlos was very annoyed. Each person was supposed to pick an opponent and fight and then when it had reached a certain time or the eliminations had become plenty then they would group up. That was what he had thought his students! But elder Jang was breaking the rules and forcing his students to group up immediately. "And how should it be fought?" Elder Jang kept his cool and asked. "I...it should be- "And who say it should be that way?" Elder Jang cut him off before he could answer. "...." Elder Carlos was left speechless by the question. He couldn't answer because the question had no particular answ

“I am glad you are awake” A voice said as a small figure approached, a young boy with long, black hair and a red robe. He had a gentle smile and was accompanied by a person who looked like a shadow. “ I have been waiting for you for a long time. I hope you will be able to help us” the boy said as he bowed his head.“I don't understand, who is this?" Mendel asked. The Shadow replied “He has been sent by the god of death, it seems that your soul was meant to go to World Z” he paused for a moment, “and I have to say, that I'm very happy to meet you. I like your personality and I can see you'll make a good leader one day”“Wait, I thought the gods didn't care about the living?”“That they never cared? No, that was wrong. They gave their blessing to our leaders and taught them how to lead others. We follow them because we trust them” The man said, explaining the reason of the people of the world. “But, I believe there was something else. Something even more important. It was the promise of

His eyes were calm pools of blue, and his skin was soft but clear. He liked spending time outdoors, tending to the plants and trees around him. When he came across a beautiful girl, he would take her home and spend some time with her alone. It was no secret to the world how much he liked women, and most people thought it was because of how strong the water source was there.However... it wasn’t exactly true. One day, Heng had taken a stroll through the city. His mind was filled with thoughts of flowers and other beautiful creatures, and as he made his way through the crowd, he accidentally bumped into someone. This surprised him at first, since everyone knew that there weren't many people who walked about like he did. But the person he'd bumped into looked oddly familiar. As he stood there and took stock of his surroundings, he realized that h

The emperor is a man of many secrets and few words; his face has never been seen by anyone outside the palace walls since he was born in this country thousands of years ago. His father died when Shoan was very young so that meant it was up to him now to protect the empire from its enemies both foreign and domestic. He had no choice but to be strong for those who depended on him, even if they didn't deserve it. In truth though he could have done without them all together because some were just too annoying or stupid to deal with. One day while sitting alone in his office pondering over how best to kill someone, which took forever these days thanks to their constant neediness, an idea struck him like lightning through a thunderstorm—he would make sure everyone else dies before killing himself. The only problem was that there wasn't enough time left between one person dying and another being born to get everything done in a timely manner…unless he found a way around that pesky little fac

The first thing he noticed was the smell. The air in the room stank of blood and death, but it wasn't a sweet scent like that of freshly spilled entrails or a butcher's shop. It smelled more like the sour tang of old vomit mixed with urine, which made him think of his mother's chamber pot after she'd been sick for days on end. He wrinkled his nose at the thought and tried to ignore the odor as best he could, though it didn't do much good. His stomach still growled loudly enough to make him wince."You're awake," said a voice from behind him. "That's a start."He turned around slowly, trying not to look too eager. A man sat against one wall, watching him intently. He had dark hair and eyes, and a scar ran across his face just below his left eye. He wore black leather armor and carried a longsword strapped to his back. His name came to mind almost immediately: Captain Rolfe.Rolfe stood up and walked over to the bedside. He pulled back the sheets and looked down at Aram's body. Then he r

"Wonderful" Harith's eyes shone with a light he'd never shown before. He had just seen a technique, a move that was mine blowing. A game changing power infact. This was the thing alice had relied on to take him by surprise and then she called him weak after. She had repelled a sure hit attack right back to the user... it was something Harith could very much use if he ever got his hands on it. ..... *Boom* The ice on the floor shattered into pieces as Layla crash on it. But without wasting time sulking on the icy floor, Layla swallowed her pain and got right up. With a heavy jump she flew upwards, flinging herself towards Baxia and grabbing him by the neck. Baxia had a face filled with irritation..These four were hell bent on stopping him from making his move. And they knew they couldn't win in a fair fight so they were trying to stop him from achieving victory, at least this way. Harith wheezed and gasped for air as he tried to take Alice's leg away from his chest but it was to no avail. The earlier attack had really weakened him. He didn't have the slightest idea of what happened. First he had made an attack and successfully predicted that Alice would dodge it, and then he made a backup attack-One that was guaranteed to hit. But as soon as he made the attack he was struck...What the fuck was going on! "I expected more" Alice clicked her tongue, the candy in her mouth dancing around. With a rise of her arms she lifted up the scythe and brought it down with all her power! *Crack!* As soon as Alice lifted up the scythe and exposed her face, a punch came crashing into her. The punch was so devastating it dislocated Alice's jaw. Alice's eyes turned and she staggered backwards, struggling to even keep hold of her scythe. *Bang!* Before Alice could recover from the first punch, another one came in. This time right to the temple. Never in her life had alice fe

"Stop him!" Layla shouted as she rushed towards Baxia, leaving her opponent behind. She couldn't give a shit about who it was that she faced, all that was on her mind was protecting her sister from this monster of a guy. The raging flames sect students were more than surprised, three of their members had suddenly become free of fighting. The Great water serpent sect students they faced before had all retreated to go defend Judith. It was now Five versus Nine- The five being the remaining members of the Great water Serpent, and the Nine being the Members of the great water serpent sect without Baxia. Harith, though, wasn't as fortunate at the rest. The Petite girl with ponytails and a candy in her mouth still refused to leave Harith. Harith was frustrated, he had only met this girl once-Which was the during the time the raging flames sect first fought the great water serpent sect in the poking rounds. And even then, their encounter was short. But now, why
Putting one's trait to good use
Outside the circleThe Great water serpent sect's side was so quiet that if one dropped a pin in the midst of them, they would hear it. The students in the circle were among the strongest of the sect, and Judith was the second strongest....second only to the sect master's daughter. But still- Baxia had knocked her out cold in one punch like it was second nature. And he just Knocked out another one of the students! Elder Jang had a smile on his face. He knew who Baxia was. Baxia couldn't accept any form of defeat without retaliating, even at the cost of his life. Although this trait made taking stupid decisions common for Baxia, this time, elder Jang was going to put the trait to good use.
