Reincarnation of the useless bastard. Just as planned
Three Whirlwind sect students had formed a wall around a student while the remaining five fought alongside Santiago. "What is the meaning of this?" Elder Carlos asked as he looked at Elder Jang with a questioning face. "The meaning of what?" Elder Jang responded. "T...this! All of this! This isn't how the battle royale should be fought!" Elder Carlos was very annoyed. Each person was supposed to pick an opponent and fight and then when it had reached a certain time or the eliminations had become plenty then they would group up. That was what he had thought his students! But elder Jang was breaking the rules and forcing his students to group up immediately. "And how should it be fought?" Elder Jang kept his cool and asked. "I...it should be- "And who say it should be that way?" Elder Jang cut him off before he could answer. "...." Elder Carlos was left speechless by the question. He couldn't answer because the question had no particular answ
Reincarnation of the useless bastard. Beginning of A Massacre
Fear gripped the hearts of the two students. Juan was still charging up his attack while their teammate had been eliminated. They were the only two left to protect the mage now. "What are you doing? Get out of the way!" Diego shouted as he threw his staff in the air. The staff made contact with Harith's hammer and Harith was pushed back from the impact. He fell to the floor but landed on his feet and got ready to attack again. The two students had been in a daze for a while but Diego's voice had clicked their consciousness. They had to do everything possible to let Juan prepare his attack. Juan's attack would be able to take out atleast four or five members of the opponent sect, then they would go on the defensive till the battle royale ends. That was part of their strategy. Another student came to help Diego and they became four all together guarding Juan. They didn't care about fighting at all, they couldn't even fight. An air practitioner could never compare to a

"What?!" Elder Carlos gasped. Juan and Harith's energy had completely disappeared, it was very clear they were not anywhere near. But how's it possible?! The two were just here a second ago and a red glow had made them disappear. How??! Elder Jang narrowed his eyes. Yun Shin's forearm was bleeding and his face expressed visible pain, he seemed to be struggling to hold on to something that very clearly posed a great danger to his health. This was the first time Elder Jang was seeing The Great Zoning Out in action, it certainly didn't leave much to the eye. "Where did you take Juan to you bastard!" One for eh students shouted and charged at Yun shin. He had clearly seen Yun shin perform some kind of ritual that had taken Juan and the other kid, he had to do something about it fast! Yun shin stared as the boy ran forward, he was barely keeping focus to maintain the art long enough, he didn't even have enough energy to fight this other student again. Cho
Reincarnation of the useless bastard. Failure
Heavy breathing accompanied The strangeness Harith was feeling as he was plunged into a new environment. Orange light lit up the surroundings providing vision for the inhabitants. Harith looked around could notice orange walls surrounding the space, they seemed to be the source of the orange light. "This must be the Great Zoning out...." Harith said as he felt the wall, the sturdiness being very clear from his touch. It would be very hard to break. But as he engaged in his his observation he could hear a sort of ragged breathing coming from he other side of the structure. Looking over, he could see a short skinny youth shaking while an ominous light was given out from his body. Harith's senses clicked and he remember what his purpose was. The youth was the Whirlwind sect mage, and the attack he was preparing could potentially be very devastating for the raging flames sect squad. That was why Yun shin was brought into the team, to be able to lock out the mage from the

Sao gang wasn't having it tho. He grabbed Harith's arm again and yanked him back, stopping him from going further. "What's wrong?" He said as he held on to Harith. "I couldn't stop it! He's gonna explode anytime soon!" Harith said, his voice worried as hell. He had tried his best to get close to Juan when he was in the great Zoning out, everything he had tried had little to no result and eventually he was let out, still without stopping juan. Sao gang frowned immediately. Now that Harith had spoken the sudden rise in energy level become noticeable and the peculiar light that was brighter than anything present, that was Juan....the mage of the whirlwind sect. Seeing the distraction causes by Sao gang and Juan, Santiago immediately took the chance to retreat and the others joined up with her. The whirlwind sect students were now gathered together, all behind Juan. This was the final stage of Juan's attack, no one could interrupt it now so they weren't worried about him being in the fr
Reincarnation of the useless bastard. Konrad, Mage of the Raging Flames Sect
"Shit!" Harith cursed as he watched Cho cheong get tossed into the air. He tried to shift his weight a bit so he could gain a bit of leverage and hopefully land back on the ground, but it was to no avail. The wind was to strong for even his strength to match. From above one could see the flow of the wind, coming from Juan and hitting the raging flames students. Jung du stood guard over his section, his body was bleeding all over from the small cuts from the wind but it wasn't nothing he couldn't handle. Sao gang and fat man Dang ju had been eliminated, a big blow to the raging flames sect students' morale considering Sao gang was their leader. Harith had flown so far by now that he was only inches away from the barrier and any more second flying would mean elimination for him. *Splat!* A liquid like substance grabbed onto Harith's feet. The substance behaved in a weird way, a liquid but clearly had shape like a solid, it was like a tentacle, a dark tantacle seeming to
Reincarnation of the useless bastard. Kill 杀
Good and evil, day and night, yin and yang, two contrasting phenomenons were present on the battlefield. Juan's light covered half of the circle, giving colour to any and everything in that part. But on the other half of the circle was a direct opposite to the light, a giant black wall made of spinning tentacles stood tall casting a shadow on the other half of the circle. Harith and the rest dwelt in this other half. The contrast made the battle a very peculiar thing to watch, Juan's light seemed to represent the good while Konrad represented the dark side. But it all depended on perspective. To the Whirlwind sect students, the deduction made earlier would hold true. After all, the Raging flames sect students had attacked them when they were most unprepared, so naturally they saw the raging flames sect students as the bad guys. On the other hand, the raging flames sect students needed a win if they wanted a good start at the tournament, and with the whirlwind sect students pitting
Reincarnation of the useless bastard. Counter attack
"Juan dodge!". Elder Carlos noticed the air and instinctively waved his hand sending a massive force of wind towards the circle. Elder Jang frowned and also waved his hand, a force on elder Carlos' scale was generated. The forces of wind met each other and they both cancelled out. "Stay out of it" Elder Jang said and looked back at the circle. Elder Carlos had tried to interfere in the matchup which was something against the rules heavily. Elder Carlos had a very worried face as he watched. He knew he shouldn't interfere but the direction the spear went meant that when it eventually hit someone it would be very dangerous to say the least. The spear travelled fast enough to reach Juan in under two seconds. Juan was too focused on his magic to sense any threat towards him. And how could he even sense a threat that was just that fast. The red head of the sear penetrated through the invisible barrier around Juan fairly easily and blood was the next thing that appeared. Juan stopped fo

Mendel's awakening
“I am glad you are awake” A voice said as a small figure approached, a young boy with long, black hair and a red robe. He had a gentle smile and was accompanied by a person who looked like a shadow. “ I have been waiting for you for a long time. I hope you will be able to help us” the boy said as he bowed his head.“I don't understand, who is this?" Mendel asked. The Shadow replied “He has been sent by the god of death, it seems that your soul was meant to go to World Z” he paused for a moment, “and I have to say, that I'm very happy to meet you. I like your personality and I can see you'll make a good leader one day”“Wait, I thought the gods didn't care about the living?”“That they never cared? No, that was wrong. They gave their blessing to our leaders and taught them how to lead others. We follow them because we trust them” The man said, explaining the reason of the people of the world. “But, I believe there was something else. Something even more important. It was the promise of

Wang minThe eldest of them was Heng. A handsome man with hair that flowed like the waves on the sea, he wore robes and had a staff in his hand. His eyes were calm pools of blue, and his skin was soft but clear. He liked spending time outdoors, tending to the plants and trees around him. When he came across a beautiful girl, he would take her home and spend some time with her alone. It was no secret to the world how much he liked women, and most people thought it was because of how strong the water source was there.However... it wasn’t exactly true. One day, Heng had taken a stroll through the city. His mind was filled with thoughts of flowers and other beautiful creatures, and as he made his way through the crowd, he accidentally bumped into someone. This surprised him at first, since everyone knew that there weren't many people who walked about like he did. But the person he'd bumped into looked oddly familiar. As he stood there and took stock of his surroundings, he realized that h

The emperor is a man of many secrets and few words; his face has never been seen by anyone outside the palace walls since he was born in this country thousands of years ago. His father died when Shoan was very young so that meant it was up to him now to protect the empire from its enemies both foreign and domestic. He had no choice but to be strong for those who depended on him, even if they didn't deserve it. In truth though he could have done without them all together because some were just too annoying or stupid to deal with. One day while sitting alone in his office pondering over how best to kill someone, which took forever these days thanks to their constant neediness, an idea struck him like lightning through a thunderstorm—he would make sure everyone else dies before killing himself. The only problem was that there wasn't enough time left between one person dying and another being born to get everything done in a timely manner…unless he found a way around that pesky little fac

The first thing he noticed was the smell. The air in the room stank of blood and death, but it wasn't a sweet scent like that of freshly spilled entrails or a butcher's shop. It smelled more like the sour tang of old vomit mixed with urine, which made him think of his mother's chamber pot after she'd been sick for days on end. He wrinkled his nose at the thought and tried to ignore the odor as best he could, though it didn't do much good. His stomach still growled loudly enough to make him wince."You're awake," said a voice from behind him. "That's a start."He turned around slowly, trying not to look too eager. A man sat against one wall, watching him intently. He had dark hair and eyes, and a scar ran across his face just below his left eye. He wore black leather armor and carried a longsword strapped to his back. His name came to mind almost immediately: Captain Rolfe.Rolfe stood up and walked over to the bedside. He pulled back the sheets and looked down at Aram's body. Then he r
Counter elimination
A brief moment of silence filled the audience as they watched a person exit the Battlefield through the circle barrier. An elimination had occured....an elimination of a member of the raging flames sect?!An instant roar came from the crowd as soon as Jung du landed on the outside of the circle."w...what?!" Jung du looked around him carefully and then looked in front. He could clearly see the barrier seperaying him and the others inside the circle. But how? How was it possible? Had he been eliminated?!The first point of the first elimination had actually gone to the Great water Serpent sect's side, even against the odds. How?! ....Judith smirk got even wider as she took a quick glancce at Jung du and retrieved her hammer. She had scored the first elimination for her team, as a captain that was one of the best things she could do to uplift her team's spirit."Damnit" Sao gang muttered as he dodged an icy blue knife that was thrown his way. "Wonderful" Harith's eyes shone with a light he'd never shown before. He had just seen a technique, a move that was mine blowing. A game changing power infact. This was the thing alice had relied on to take him by surprise and then she called him weak after. She had repelled a sure hit attack right back to the user... it was something Harith could very much use if he ever got his hands on it. ..... *Boom* The ice on the floor shattered into pieces as Layla crash on it. But without wasting time sulking on the icy floor, Layla swallowed her pain and got right up. With a heavy jump she flew upwards, flinging herself towards Baxia and grabbing him by the neck. Baxia had a face filled with irritation..These four were hell bent on stopping him from making his move. And they knew they couldn't win in a fair fight so they were trying to stop him from achieving victory, at least this way. Baxia didn't think Layla would ever let go of him but still... he couldn't afford to t

Harith wheezed and gasped for air as he tried to take Alice's leg away from his chest but it was to no avail. The earlier attack had really weakened him. He didn't have the slightest idea of what happened. First he had made an attack and successfully predicted that Alice would dodge it, and then he made a backup attack-One that was guaranteed to hit. But as soon as he made the attack he was struck...What the fuck was going on! "I expected more" Alice clicked her tongue, the candy in her mouth dancing around. With a rise of her arms she lifted up the scythe and brought it down with all her power! *Crack!* As soon as Alice lifted up the scythe and exposed her face, a punch came crashing into her. The punch was so devastating it dislocated Alice's jaw. Alice's eyes turned and she staggered backwards, struggling to even keep hold of her scythe. *Bang!* Before Alice could recover from the first punch, another one came in. This time right to the temple. Never in her life had alice fe

"Stop him!" Layla shouted as she rushed towards Baxia, leaving her opponent behind. She couldn't give a shit about who it was that she faced, all that was on her mind was protecting her sister from this monster of a guy. The raging flames sect students were more than surprised, three of their members had suddenly become free of fighting. The Great water serpent sect students they faced before had all retreated to go defend Judith. It was now Five versus Nine- The five being the remaining members of the Great water Serpent, and the Nine being the Members of the great water serpent sect without Baxia. Harith, though, wasn't as fortunate at the rest. The Petite girl with ponytails and a candy in her mouth still refused to leave Harith. Harith was frustrated, he had only met this girl once-Which was the during the time the raging flames sect first fought the great water serpent sect in the poking rounds. And even then, their encounter was short. But now, why
Putting one's trait to good use
Outside the circleThe Great water serpent sect's side was so quiet that if one dropped a pin in the midst of them, they would hear it. The students in the circle were among the strongest of the sect, and Judith was the second strongest....second only to the sect master's daughter. But still- Baxia had knocked her out cold in one punch like it was second nature. And he just Knocked out another one of the students! Elder Jang had a smile on his face. He knew who Baxia was. Baxia couldn't accept any form of defeat without retaliating, even at the cost of his life. Although this trait made taking stupid decisions common for Baxia, this time, elder Jang was going to put the trait to good use.
