"It's remaining two pairs, if you want to fight now's your chance" Rose said as she looked in a certain direction with intent.

"Let me go this time" As soon as young master Baxia saw her look. He felt suspicious that she kept looking at him but he didn't focus on that. His focus was on the emerald eyes. If he didn't step up before the others the emerald eyes may be gone just when he could.

"Come on out then" Rose answered In place of elder Jang with enthusiasm.

Young master Baxia looked at Elder Jang for his approval and since elder Jang had nothing to be suspicious about he just let him go. It wouldn't even last up to a minute before Baxia would win and he'd resume his time with his students.

"Eh? Wasn't she knocked out before?" A student pointed at Amber who was now standing opposite young master Baxia. Of course they found it strange, it was unlike before when she was fed the pill and took some time to become conscious. Now immediately Young master Baxia stepped up she just surprisingly got up from the ground and looked very much energetic.

Elder Jang frowned. He was having a bad feeling. The energy he sensed from the girl had suddenly changed. He contemplated on stopping Baxia but before he could Baxia had already announced himself.

"I am Baxia" Young master Baxia bowed and drew out his sword.

For the first time amber smirked. One could see the joy on her face as she looked at Baxia, but the joy wasn't pure or positive no. It felt like a joy that a predator would felt after finally pouncing on its prey.

"I have heard so much about you, Baxia" Amber said with renewed vigor. "Please make this worth my time" It was like her demeanor had suddenly changed. Even the students started feeling scared as she spoke.

"What the hell is this feeling" Harith muttered as he clenched his emerald eyes. He was shocked to see that the girl he had knocked out cold was standing there just barely seconds after fighting him. Was it an act?

"Heard of me?" Baxia scrunched his brows. He was the Raging flames sect master's son but he hadn't done anything worth recognizing or even fought anyone outside of his sect yet. Why then did it seem like his name was famous among them?

"Tch" Amber gave elder Jang a knowing look and then spoke to Baxia "You don't know, do you" She laughed and vanished almost instantly. A dark smoke was left behind.

Baxia immediately perked up his senses. He instantly turned around and swung his sword at the space behind him.

"Missed me" Amber's voice flowed with the wind as Baxia struggled to find her real position.

"Right here" A voice sounded next to Baxia's ears as a hand grabbed him by the neck and raised him high up.

Young master Baxia Baxia struggled to breathe as he managed to swing his sword but Amber was quick and stopped his hand. She squeezed it so tightly that he was forced to let go of the sword.

"Tsk tsk tsk" So weak she muttered as she held the struggling Baxia by the neck.

Dread and horror terrorized the hearts of the students. This girl...this girl was a demon from hell! She was making a fool young master Baxia, the strongest of all of them. But they had defeated her so easily before and she was weak but the amber they saw now was anything but weak.

Young master Baxia's face was turning red in his struggle for respiration and he was quickly losing consciousness...but he refused to be defeated like this.

"Arrghh!" Baxia screamed as he swung his available left fist. Amber had relished in her brief advantage but had forgotten about completely immobilizing Baxia.

Baxia's fist burned with bright fire that amazed those who gazed upon it. The heavy fist instantly punched the living daylights out of Amber. She let go of Baxia as the punch sent her staggering.

*Cough cough* Young mastered Baxia struggled but knew the fight was far from over. His heart, his mind, his soul, his survival instinct were all telling him. If he loses this match then he would die.

He grabbed his sword and got to his feet as fire gradually covered it's whole body.

"You hit like a girl" Amber said as she spat on the floor. As she saw the sword in Baxia's hand she waved her hand and her fan opened. It's sharpened blades rearing it's heads.

She flung the fan and it spun in a horizontally circular motion.

Baxia swung his sword downwards in a slanted form and a stream of flames was sent out. The flames acted like a solid object and knocked the fan off course. Baxia then waved again sending another stream of flames.

Amber spun her arms around and water gathered in front of her, she then pushed it with great force.

The strength of Amber's attack was unexpected and it easily destroyed Baxia's attacks. But Baxia forged on.

He waved, this time horizontally. But it only got easily destroyed by amber.

Baxia continued swinging in specific ways and soon Elder Jang's eyes glinted.

"Ah!" Baxia shouted as he did his final swing. "Kill!" He screamed.

Just then a huge flaming symbol resembling the character 杀 appeared in the air behind amber. Amber was oblivious to it but the the others could see it very clearly.

Baxia quickly punched the body of his sword with his flaming fist and a huge shockwaves was produced that sent amber flying back.

As amber flew back, she landed on the symbol in the air and it locked her in like a magnet. Amber's whole body was kept in place as she struggled to set herself free.

"Kill!" Young master Baxia screamed as he threw his sword at Amber who was basically like a sheep waiting to be slaughtered.

Luckily, amber had the strength to move just a few inches before the sword landed.

*Slice* The sword grazed by her sides but still drew a significant amount of blood.

But Baxia wasn't done. He joined his hands together and drew them apart. As he drew them apart, the flames between his palms seemed to be taking shape. And soon they formed a long flaming spear.

"Kill!" Baxia's eyes were ruthless as he threw the spear.

Amber genuinely feared for her life now and summoned all the strength in her being to break free. And break free she did, but as she fell the spear caught her midway piercing through her shoulders.

"Aaahhh" She screamed in agony as she fell to the floor.

Baxia drew his hands apart again and soon another flaming spear formed. The girl dared call him weak, choke him almost to the point of death. This was his repayment!

As Baxia readied the spell Rose's began to get concerned. Her eyes glowed blue as she spoke under her breath. "Have you forgotten what we came here for?" She spoke seemingly to herself.

Amber heard a whisper in the wind and she looked at Baxia m, still in agony from the spear's attack. But the mission was too important to be ignored.

She took out a tiny needle from under her tongue and immediately rushed towards Baxia with her fan in her other hand.

Baxia wasn't expecting her sudden strength gain and he immediately dismissed the spear he had been preparing. By the time he was done, Amber had already come close and he felt a sting in his upper arm but it was quickly overtaken by the sharp pain from a cut on his stomach.

Baxia's instinct kicked and his strength limit was pushed. He swung he fist at Amber and sent her flying several metres into the air till she landed on the destroyed gate and stopped moving.

"That is enough!" Elder Jang got up and immediately rushed towards Baxia who was now bleeding from his belly.

"Get help immediately" Elder Jang ordered as he struggled to b

keep Baxia awake.

"You win, that will be all for today. Till we meet again" Rose said and tossed two emerald eyes at Elder Jang before disappearing with thee other two in the blink of an eye.

"What are you waiting for? Go after her" Elder Jang screamed in all his fury.

"Y...yes Elder Jang" The guard was wan remaining ran out of the place. There was nothing he could do even if he found the woman again, but staying here and doing nothing with elder Jang as infuriated as this was probably worse. He would just get sone help and report the incident.

Harith's mouth hung open as he stared into space. He had witnessed a spectacle just now. These two...he had never seen people battle like that. Those powers, the swords, the spells, they a fascinated Harith.

"Hmm" He looked as a bright green stone rolled to his feet admidst all the ruckus. "an emerald eye?" Harith muttered and immediately looked around. No one was looking at him, they were all concentrating on the injured Baxia who, for some reason, he didn't give a single fuck about.

"Don't mind if I do" He smiled cunningly as he sneakily picked up the emerald eye and tucked it into his robe.

....

The sect leader's quarters.

Inside a secluded room filled with all sorts of strange tool and drawings, the sect master sat with his eyes looking to the ceiling. The ceiling above looked just like the night sky on a starry night. The stars danced about and moved in strange patterns. But then they suddenly stopped and started dying out one after the other until the last remaining star was gone and the night sky felt lonely.

The sect master's eyes immediately opened up and his breath was rugged. "The signs are ominous" He said with great fear in his voice.

"Sect master!" At that moment a voice called out to him from outside.

"Come in" The sect master shook off his thoughts and answered. The voice of the guard sounded like he carried an urgent message so he didn't want to waste time.

The head guard entered the room and looked around for a bit. This was the first time he was entering this place, he was certainly beyond marveled. But he had no time for that now. He had to deliver this news as soon as possible.

"My Lord, the young master has been injured in a fight" The head guard said with a worried expression.

"Injured?!" It was like someone had pressed the high pitch button on the sect master's voice. A sense of dread filled him as soon as he heard the news.

"He's being attended to right now" The head guard continued.

"is it fatal?" The sect master was shaking. Anything could happen to anyone...but for his son, the son he had suffered for, to be injured...he couldn't stand it. The signs...the ominous signs, it couldn't be.

"Rest assured it isn't a fatal one" The head guard sensed his worry and tried his best to relieve him of that.

"..." The sect master breathed a sigh of relief but then frowned after. "Who did it?" He asked.

"I have no idea my lord, but Elder Jang seemed to be there during the whole event as it had apparently taken place in the youth practitioners house" The head guard replied.

"Elder Jang....where are they now?" The sect master asked.

"At the sect's hospital my Lord"

"You may leave now" The sect master dismissed him and sat down on the floor. He looked up to the ceiling that was plan, devoid of the sky from earlier.

"You said he would be the one would would set the stone rolling for the commencement of a new age in the sects' history, please do not kill him now" The sect master muttered as his head hung low.
