*Eieeeekkk* A loud screech sounded in the skies above as the trees around danced. Wind moved like a thief being chasing, arising dust and leaves. Harith and Cho cheong hid behind and large tree, hiding from the angry creature that roamed the sky. It was the first time Harith felt fear of this level. The Child of Fenghuang was freakishly huge, taller that the tree they hid behind and even though he had know that, he still went ahead and disturbed it in it's sleep! Seo ling had a serious face, earlier when she had tried to touch the Child of Fenghuang she had only been joking and she used it as a method to tease Harith, she didn't expect him to actually go through and go wake the Child of Fenghuang. Now they were in a very much dangerous situation. *Thud!* The ground shook as a pair of giant feet landed on it. Harith's heart immediately skipped a beat, the Child of Fenghuang was far from them but he had heard the footsteps like it was right next to him.
Harith took a deep breath and just looked at The Child of Fenghuang with sheer horror in his eyes, he dared not take another breath. The danger of the situation was too high for that sole risk. "D-don't move" Seo ling spoke to Harith in his head. The Child of Fenghuang was right in front of them, any stupid moves and they would become lunch. *Eeeiiiikkk* The Child of Fenghuang shrieked and in a surprising move it turned it's legs the other way and walked away, much to the relief of Harith. Harith still didn't take a breath until the Child of Fenghuang was almost out of sight. *Sigh* He finally breathed out, his face that had become red from holding his breath slowly returned to it's normal colour. Seo ling stood up and performed some actions with her hands before she heaved a sigh of relief. She had confirmed that the Child of Fenghuang was nowhere near, they were free now. After a brief moment of relaxing, Seo ling frowned and went over to Harith,
Karen sneered as she watched alice leave, but her smile returned when her eyes landed on Konrad. She had lost very surprisingly last time because she hadn't expected him to be able to fight both at long and close range, and he was so fast too. But now she was much more prepared. "Hello" Karen said and waved. "....." Konrad refrained from speaking and just slowly got up to his feet. Staying on the floor wasn't good in a fight, he had to take a good position. Karen just watched as Konrad got to his feet, she wasn't planning on taking action anytime soon. Konrad was like a wounded animal, she wasn't to weary of him. Outside the Circle Miss rose suddenly furrowed her brows as he sensed a new energy come into the place. As a master practitioner, sensing the flow of energy from one person to another was something very easy for her, and right now she was sensing a very familiar energy entering the premises. With a sharp head turn, mis
The raging flames sect was five man down, it had taken a huge blow. First, the strongest of the team was eliminated, and then the squad leader was also eliminated, the five that remained looked like a herd of sheep with a shepherd. Their morale was extremely low at the moment, any more eliminations and they would surrender, elder Jang could already see that happening. *Sigh* Else Jang released a deep breath and looked at Miss rose, he had kept faith in his students that they would be able to defend against the water serpent sect's attack, but these people were just too cunning. Judith had used the blood art even before the match had started and it seemed the the same was true for the Assistant captain, the result had been decided from the very beginning. Rachel's lips curled up slightly as she locked eyes with Cho cheong but it only lasted a brief moment before she looked away and went to focus on another victim. Cho cheong's heart race like a hor
"Baxia..." Elder Jang said as he placed a hand on Baxia's shoulder. He could sense the anger coming from Baxia. Baxia acting on his anger could get him in serious trouble, even if he was the son of the sect master it would only do little to help. Baxia sneered and shrugged elder Jang's hand off his shoulder, with a final look at Miss rose, he turned his back and left the place angrily. Miss rose had a slight smile on her face after Baxia left and it only increased when she saw the hate filled looks of the raging flames students. "Jang Chi, you really should teach your students basic manners tsk tsk tsk" She shook her head as she spoke. "Please leave with your students" Elder Jang said in a cold fashion. She had already won and yet she had laid hands on the sect master's child, although he couldn't do anything against it because miss rose was kind of in the right, it still was an act of disrespect....she couldn't stay any longer. "hmmm" Muss rose looked around, although she knew t
"Ha ha!" Miss rose let out a light chuckle "Ha ha ha ha ha ha!" She full on started laughing as she held her hand close to her mouth to keep it short. "Did I say something funny?" Elder Jang asked. After he had spoken miss rose had started laughing, did she find his words funny? "N...no...no you didn't" Miss rose said as she controlled herself. "Miss, it seems the Raging flames sect members aren't in the right state to receive a speech" The Great water serpent sect master's daughter let out an easily unnoticeable sigh and maintained her silence after. "Well then, it seems the miss isn't bothered by this development. We will be on our way, Jang Chi" Miss rose said and smiled brightly at Elder Jang. The guards with the Great water serpent sect master's daughter bowed at elder Jang and with one hand on the golden chair the daughter sat on, they raised it up in unison and carried it gently out of the House. Miss rose's students followed behind her. Both injured and uninjured had
"So.... where were you?" Cho cheong asked as she walked home with Harith. Harith had suddenly disappeared while the fight was still ongoing, and he didn't return until it was almost over. Where could he have gone that was more important than the match between the sect and the Great water serpent sect? "....." Harith suddenly be ame silent. He hadn't thought of a viable excuse, and he could really tell Cho cheong that he had left the match to go on a dangerous chase with a girl that he had barely known for days....it didn't sound right in any way he tried to imagine it. "No answer?" Cho cheong raised her eyebrow in suspicion and asked. She had asked this same question to Harith earlier but he had dodged it, she figured he would tell her after the match was done but Harith was dodging the question again?! Something was definitely off somewhere, but she knew not to pry too much. It could be something deeply personally maybe that's why he didn't want to say anything. So she gave
Harith was surprised and he hurriedly made his way to the House. Elder jang...what did he do that had gotten him summoned by elder jang so urgently? He wondered. It took some mere minutes before Harith reached the youth practitioners house. It was very much empty, with elder Jang being the only one present. Elder Jang was with his cane as always, sitting on a slab of stone and he looked to be meditating but as soon as Harith entered the house his eyes opened showing his sharpened gaze. “Hmm, You’re here" Elder Jang said "Yes elder Jang" Harith nodded "You called for me" He said. "Hmm, I did" Elder Jang nodded his head and with the help of his cane he stood up. "Take a seat" he said and pointed at the stone slab. Harith looked at the stone, unsure of what was happening but he still went ahead and sat on the stone. "The girl you were with today, do you know who she is?" Elder Jang asked, his voice cold and deep. Harith's heart
